    Credit goes to James J on twitter for that Boston, Baltimore, NY have combined for 10 losses when leading into the 7th, compared to the Jays 11 on their own. Btw Jays have a 33-11 record in those games overall. Apparently those 44 games are the 2nd most in MLB (to the Cubs) for leading after 6 innings.

    I've noticed the same. It seems to happen especially if a pitcher throws 115-120+ pitches attempting to get a no-hitter or something, and then their next start is a clunker. Sanchez only threw about 103 last time out though.
