  1. Just outta curiousity, how many wins do you guess this team would win right now if no other changes were made?
  2. Nothing of high interest than normal AA banter: * Didn't want to get into specifics about Melky but sounds like they were never close * Wouldn't commit to say Sanchez would be the closer in 2015. Still seems him as a rotation guy. Will compete with Norris and Estrada for that 5th spot * Did want to acknowledge they've had interest in Toritani but wouldn't go into specifics. * Morrow was offered bullpen role, happy he got a starters deal in San Diego. I had to step away from desk but that's what I got
  3. I was hoping for Jason Motte too. Yah well.... at this rate though hopefully AA has some mega deal in the works.
  4. I'm getting wrecked this year. I should just tank for high draft pick at this point.
  5. Somewhere WardHenke1 is not be pleased.
  6. Sub Dickey with De La Rosa and we good.
  7. Sub Morrow for Motte and we're good.
  8. I just want to win the bidding. Feels good to win.

  10. Another starter AND 2B. Right now it's 1) Sox 2) Jays 3) Orioles 4) Yankees 5) Rays
  11. Boston, New York and Toronto at least have loaded up. Meanwhile Tampa and Baltimore have dun nutting.
  12. Good. Weaken dem Yankees.
  13. You always say that about LHP vs our lineup now. Lol
  14. If its Cooler Heads Prevail, no deal.
  15. We need a reaction trade. Quick.
  16. Lots of parity right now... Tons of teams in the mid to low 80's win totals.
  17. Relievers are gettin snapped up here, where's AA? He went to the Winter Meetings with the intent to fix the bullpen and time's a ticking.
  18. If he doesn't drop major $ into some of the bullpen guys (depending on what kind of contracts are left out there for a guy like Romo) I wonder where AA can reposition his funds? Maybe an upgrade on another position?
  19. Hahaha - nah b. f*** Winter.
  20. Lester to Cubs! Time for an update!
  21. Lol. I hate the winters here. Even though I'm Jamaican background and born here I still never get used to it.
  22. That's just over 6/yr. That seems like a deal we could've had.
  23. Yup. Steamer projects Wade Miley with a 2.3 WAR, compared to Mark Buehrle or R.A Dickey who project a 1.5 WAR. Also to note, Drew Hutchison is at 1.9 and Marcus Stroman 3.3
  24. Totally agree, which is why maybe it's a multi player deal - To TOR: INF Aaron Hill ($12M 2015, $12M 2016) LHP Wade Miley ($0.5235M 2015) RHP Brad Ziegler ($5M 2015, $5.5M Club Option 2016/$1M Buyout) C Tuffy Gosewisch ($0.5M 2015) To ARZ: RHP RA Dickey ($12M 2015, $12M 2016 Club Option/$1M Buyout) C Dioner Navarro ($5M 2015) C Josh Thole ($1.75 2015) We really shouldn't have to add a pitching prospect considering we're taking on $12M of Aaron Hill's guaranteed salary for 2016 but the DBacks might insist. EDIT: Maybe we could substitute Ziegler as suggested Randall Delgado ($0.51M 2015) or Evan Marshall but now it's gonna cost us more.
