  1. s*** it's not even his hand. This is bad.
  2. If it's not broken I assume it's just for the minimum. His hand must be all bruised to s***.
  3. Looks like Liriano is the clear winner but if anything Biagini is becoming a nice asset to have for next year when Liriano and Estrada are free agents.
  4. They are Making the Farm System Great Again too. By the time this dinosaur team dies off, whether that's this year, next or in 2019 we will finally have some prospects to call up. There's probably not going to be any reason to have a firesale and a long drawn out 5 year rebuild. This is good because watching the team lose a bunch of games sucks but it also makes for a healthier franchise as TO supports a competitive team but won't support a bad one.
  5. I think the player's contracts are included but the teams don't exchange money to even up the deals at all. So the question is essentially EE and his contract or Smoak and his?
  6. The price alone is probably enough to pass and that's not even considering giving up Smoak who basically plays for free.
  7. Haha I thought this might be more of a debate but it seems to be the consensus.
  8. This is kind of where I fall as well. I've been impressed with Biagini so far and based on talent alone he might be the guy. But Biagini's innings can't jump too much so putting him back in the pen can help manage that. We also don't have much depth and Biagini seems like a guy who can jump from the pen to the rotation later down the road when we will likely need it.
  9. Looks like Sanchez is starting to throw again. If he comes back before anyone else is hurt that would likely lock in Sanchez, Stroman, Estrada and Happ. That would leave Liriano or Biagini for the 5th spot. Who would you want to stay in the rotation, Liriano or Biagini? This is not what you think will happen but rather who would you personally prefer.
  10. Yeah but what else can I base it off of? I'm not a scout but I can understand stats at a pretty high level. I understand projections as well. What do you base it off of? Your naked eye?
  11. What of his track record makes you think he could keep that pace up or that he warrants the most ABs of anyone on the team? Every hear of regression to the mean?
  12. Despite the double you are probably right. I think of all our regulars Pillar projects to be the worst ROS.
  13. Agreed, he's not even that bad. He makes some mental mistakes like throwing it to the wrong base but the guy is a fine bench player and probably our best option right now until Pearce comes back. He's been worth 1.2 WAR in 475 AB's the past two years.
  14. What's wrong with Biagini? He's looking great in there right now.
  15. Give these fringe guys like Tepera and Goins a little taste of playing time and then they starts asking for the moon.
  16. Lol I like how Lester stares at their dugout like he's some sort of badass for lobbing a ball over to 1st base.
  17. Lol why? I've been once. Montreal was alright.
  18. What do Canadians think of Montreal and Quebec in general? Maybe a Toronto viewpoint and a non-Toronto viewpoint would help me understand better.
  19. So what is it about Toronto that other Canadians don't like? Torontonians think their s*** don't stink and all that?
  20. We don't face him this series but what is up with Tanaka? His xFIP isn't that bad. His Hr/FB is high and so is it his BABIP. Is he just unlucky right now or is something else going on?
  21. ^that's some pretty good shitposting right there lol
  22. It's wishful thinking because I don't want there to be something wrong with his shoulder but he has played day games after night games before.
