  1. You sound like Arash Madani
  2. Santander trade value = ^^^
  3. ^When you're trying to troll but you actually post some very useful information. Thanks Junior
  4. So the Yankees are 7-3 against the O's so far. That's probably about where you want to be against them but it's not exactly cleaning up shop. Plus, we haven't even played them yet.
  5. My speculation is that it's a combination of a league wide offensive drought, a lot of our guys randomly having slow starts and a tough early season schedule (I saw a graphic where the average fastball we are facing is something like 95+ and the average fastball the Yankees have been getting is 91 or something). You could probably throw in bad BABIP and bad sequencing when it comes to getting a hit with RISP. Add it all up and you've got a bad offense. But it doesn't end there either. It's all being compounded by the fact that the players are now pressing, perhaps moreso with RISP.
  6. Orioles win on a walkoff homer by Santander! Nice job O's.
  7. OMG freaking Yankees get a bloop single to tie it with 2 outs and a 1-2 count
  8. Here come the Orioles
  9. Check this out. What if we keep Bo and instead trade prospects for Soto instead of Correa?
  10. Baker pitched pretty well that inning too. If he starts off with a clean inning he probably would have been fine. Dammit Hyde.
  11. Orioles Yanks game is tied 3-3 entering the Top of the 6th. Hyde lets Zimmerman pitch a 3rd time through the order and now the bases are juiced with no outs.
  12. Yeah prospect/young player development isn't always linear and it's even less so for Catchers. Look at Jansen. We don't want a Moreno/Kirk combo where Moreno struggles for a year and a half while we are trying to win a World Series.
  13. If Moreno lasts through the trade deadline though then I think it's anybody's guess as to who they'll keep. But if we move one of them at the deadline I think it would be Moreno.
  14. Something will have to give between Jansen, Kirk and Moreno and if anyone is going to go I think it's going to be Moreno. -Jansen could be a Top 5 Catcher. 2 more years of control after this one. -Kirk's offensive numbers in the minors were elite and Steamer projects him for a wRC+ of 131. There is a reason the Jays didn't bring in another bat in the offseason and that's because they think he's good enough to DH for a World Series contender. Add in his elite framing numbers (better than Jansen even) and the fact that he's only one year older than Moreno and he might be the most underrated player on this board. 4 more years of control after this one. -Moreno is a Top 10 prospect. For a team trying to win a World Series it seems to me like keeping the guys who are producing for the big league club while trading the prospect to add to the big league team makes the most sense.
  15. Oh I'm definitely on board for this. Ship his ass out of here we've a pennant to win!
  16. Nice job by Vlad to take all of those pitches. All of them were close but nothing he could really drive
  17. Here we go. Chucky bats Jansen 9th for just this reason.
