    Tiedemann last 2 games...10 innings 0 hits 4 walks( 3 in one inning, 2 questionable calls ) and 17 k's. This kid is exciting to watch. Too bad I only got to see him once.

    My luck that he pitched tonight. Just moved from Longboat Key(near Bradenton) to Palm Harbor for a few days, so won't see any more Dunedin games before I leave. I only managed to get to 3 games this spring. Bad trip planning. The upside was running into Maria Sharapova on the beach in Longboat..managed to get a picture with her.

    I'm not sure of the new rule as that was the first time I've seen it called. Maybe once you step in the box time is not allowed.

    Interesting thing happened in the Dunedin game last night. One of the Mussels ( yes that's the name of the Ft.Meyers team ) stepped out of the box on a 2-2 count and Tiedemann threw the ball..automatic strike called...supposed to be a time saving rule but the manager comes out and argues the call for 5 min. Go figure. Btw, after Tiedemann walked the bases loaded in the 3rd and got out of the jam,he struck out the side in the 4th and the 1st batter in the 5th before leaving the game after 5 without giving up a hit. Impressive. I don't think he'll be in Dunedin very long.

    Just got back from the game in Dunedin. Tiedemann was impressive . His fastball was sitting at 95-98 and his splitter was 82-85. He is a big lefty with a very easy delivery. He did walk the bases loaded but did manage to get out unscathed. Not much else to see on this team. Groshans is rehabbing with the Jr. Jays and was the dh tonight. New ballpark is great..love the walk around in the outfield. The Jays new store was also pretty impressive. The best part of going to the game aside from the Tiedemann performance was the free ball cap. Paid $ 8 for the ticket and get a $15 dollar cap. The girl gave me an extra one on the way out.They were giving them out to the first 500 but the attendance was closer to 200. I sat right behind the plate ,4 rows up.Gotta love minor league ball.

    Will finally get to a game tomorrow in Dunedin and Tiedemann is pitching. Excited to see the new park. Will share my thoughts after the game. I'm not sure if the new scoreboard will show the pitch velocity but I usually find a seat behind someone with a gun.

    Heading down to Dunedin next week for the first time in 3 years. Late start to my trip this year but am anxious to see the new park and watch Tiedemann, Machado and others. Will post my thoughts after the games.

    A lot of things went right but don't forget Springer played half a season, the bullpen was horrid for 3 months and the Jays had no real home games for most of the year. They were just rounding into form and I think whould have been a formidable opponent in the playoffs.f*** I hate the Sux and Yanks.

    I think the Rays would not like to see the Jays in the playoffs with their starting pitching and offence.

    Seattle is -52 in run differential while the Jays are +128...go figure.

    Did anyone catch Charlie's interview with Arash the other day on Blue Jays Central when asked what he said to his players after another horrific loss. He just said several times with that stupid look on his face "Just go have fun". WTF. Of course no follow up by Arash.
