    Heading down to Dunedin in a few weeks. Anxious to see the new park and get in some A ball games. Will catch the Jays in Tampa in late April.

    Kirk listed at 5'9"? I'd say more like 5'5. I've seen him in Dunedin. I'm 5'10" and he comes up to my shoulders but he looks good in the batting cage. Looks like he's put on a few more lbs. Good read btw...heading down to Dunedin in 3 weeks, anxious to see the new stadium and watch some A ball.

    I would gladly give up Teoscar's inconsistent bat and his f***ing seeds for Alford or Davis's defence.

    Jonathan Davis would have saved the Jays at least one run tonight. I now understand why Houston gave up on Both Teoscar and Fisher...they value defence.

    I did some research myself and found a report on the Jays picks this year. Really interesting stats..He was a reliever in college posting a 1.57 ERA and his stats 53k,16BB in 28 and 2/3 innings are almost identical to this years combined totals. The report was dated June ,2019.

    This season combined stats from Bluefield and Vancouver. 34 IP 6 Er 16 BB 53 k .107 Ave .82 whip Pretty impressive numbers. Does anyone have a scouting report on him? Would like to know how he rates out on pitches.

    I was at the game today and was concerned initially. He gave up 2 loud outs deep to centre that were run down by Davis and the HR and single in the first 3 innings while consistently falling behind in the count. He also had no strikeouts thru 3 but righted the ship and ended up going 6 innings with 7 K's and only giving up the 2 hits. His velocity went up as the game progressed and was sitting 98/99 in the last few innings. I guess my expectations were a little high for him after watching Nate plow thru batters in Dunedin.

    Anyone else going to the Bisons game to watch Pearson today? Come and say hello. I'll be wearing a Dunedin Jays shirt and usually sit in the second level on the 3rd base side.

    Looks like the Jays gave away Sanchez et all. Fisher looks no better than McKinney.

    He's probably better than Fisher. Jays traded Sanchez, Biagini and Stephenson for another Socrates Brito.

    I was also at the game yesterday but parked on the street, so didn't see the junkies. I have seen Pearson a few times and this was not one of his better games, even tho he was perfect thru 3. His off speed pitches were high most of the time and he didn't hit 100 after the second inning. Warmoth looks lost at the plate and Spannberger pulled a Fisher but at least it didn't hit him in the face. Still worth the 2 hr drive.

    And Fisher catches a fly ball with his face. Is he that much of an improvement over McKinney, Alford as a 4th outfielder? I like some of the moves that Atkins has made but this trade may rank right up there with the Dickey trade.

    Play against Lakeland at Jack Russell on the 18th and 19th and in Lakeland on the 20. following week in Daytona and Jupiter.
