Hutchison should be at the bottom of the list in terms of stuff. Smoral's secondaries I believe rate higher than Castro's at present, even if his velocity is a slightly lower. That Chris guy from BP says he has a plus to plus-plus slider and a potential above average changeup. -

A future rotation of Stroman, Norris, Hoffman, Sanchez, and Osuna/Smoral/Castro sounds pretty sweet. -

Might as well give him a shot. Call him up in September for the stretch run. You never know when a pitcher is going to get injured, might as well have him using those bullets to help your team. -

Off topic, but if we're going to spend money on someone I hope it's Japanese pitcher Kenta Maeda. He's not at Tanaka's level but he looks pretty darn good. Some scouts are saying he's a likely 4 starter at best, but many of those same scouts also thought Tanaka was a likely 3 starter, possibly 2 max. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fHYInoL0C6o
