The MLB should implement a rule that any runner who crosses home plate in the 7th inning and onwards is subject to 100 lashes. That should eliminate the bitching and moaning by fans every time their team's BP gives up runs. The bullpen did just fine yesterday. You don't win too many games scoring one run.
For as long as I can remember perusing these forums, there has always been complaints about the Jays' BP. But if the team scores late and comes from behind, that's just clutch hitting. I'm way too lazy to look this up, but my gut feel is that the Jays bullpens have been more or less middle of pack, even in the under .500 seasons over the last 10 years. And in the years the bullpen has been bad, it's actually the starting pitchers who haven't been pulling their weight, exposing the relievers.
