Rowdy had an expected slug about 100 points higher than what his actual slug was in the majors. He was up down up. It felt thinking and guessing at the plate after pitches at times. He just needed to get some confidence going. Now he's in AAA and doing well. He's working himself back to being a viable left handed option. Jansen needs to do the same. Get some confidence going for a couple weeks. Maybe some team will look at Reece as a desirable secondary piece in a trade.

Kirk is ready. I hope he's on a plane right now. He started playing extended spring training games 3 weeks ago. In 3 games at buffalo he's killed it. I really don't want to see him getting 2 hits for the Bisons tomorrow. I want him catching Ross Stripling. There is a chance they hold off until Sunday so he can catch Ray.

Springer is out of the game because we are leading by 10 runs. Nothing to be concerned about.

Johnny Axford closing out game 1 for the Bisons tonight. Three up 3 down with a K, no hits, no walks. Rowdy 2 for 3 with a walk. OPS up to 1.107 at AAA. Kirk with a homer in his first AB of the second game.

Maybe we can throw chatwood in on the Rodriguez trade and pay all his salary. He's not really a piece, just an added tip. Here's a veteran you can put out there as much as you like when you need an innings eater. I'd rather have Axford at this point. Same sort of pitcher I suppose...really good or really bad, not much in between, but Axford isn't a dick.

The last couple outings where Castro gave up runs I felt it was a bit of bad luck and credit to the hitters. I was also surprised he got sent down

Yeah, I was going to say, that's an atkins decision, not Charlie. I'm sure Charlie and Pete have input, but the final decision on roster moves lies with the GM.

No way of knowing if Biggio would have doubled in the 9th, but why was Grichuk trying to steal. Dude's 0 for 2 and never steals bags. If he doubled in the 9th like he did in the 10th the Jays would have won!
