I am well aware of wRC+....I'm also aware of AAA off speed stuff vs major league off speed stuff....see Snider wRC+ in minors vs majors.

blocking ability, throwing ability, game calling, hitting ability. How is it that goins can't be on this team because he can't hit...but d'arnaud is wonderful despite the fact that he has not been able to hit....once he shows the ability to hit at the major league level we can talk....right now he looks like a Snider clone to me....4A PCL product of optimism....

seriously...what does izzy have to do to get in the lineup..he's even made a couple nice defensive plays so far. They said he is better shape..he's a switch hitter...use him.

What has D'arnaud done so far to make you wish he was on this team? He's had injuries...he's average defensively...and the PCL made him look better than he is...4A.

Bad start from Morrow? Tampa made some good swings and strung some hits together, but Morrow was locating reasonably well.....his off speed stuff needs to get a bit better, but all in all he pitched better than the results. I would hardly call that a bad start...I would say I'm encouraged for his next start after what I saw last night.
