you act like the entire league isn't striking out on that pitch...that splitter is ridiculous. You just need to trust your brain and not your eyes...you almost have to commit to taking the pitch in that situation.

McGowan has type 1 diabetes though. It's tough on a pitcher...Morrow is the same way...you can feel great at the beginning of a game and 3 innings in you just lose energy...and your labour and your pitches start getting up in the zone..other nights you go 8 strong and you have no issues...that's the problem with diabetes..

I'd be much more concerned if we were losing games 10 to 8 every time....Dickey lost today giving up 2 earned runs...buehrle lost giving up 1 earned over 7..stro lost giving up 3 runs over 6.....the starting pitching outside of happ still looks pretty decent to me....the offense will come around...Colby should be back soon too...
