  9. okay, I apologise. Seems like a good guy too. Would love to have him on the team.
  10. I'm starting to think you feel Navarro should lose some weight
  11. I was just thinking if you're trying to limit innings...but yeah...that doesn't make sense.
  12. are you trying to say we shouldn't have traded him? Thanks Captain obvious.
  13. just a sec...I'll count
  14. jays making solid contact tonight
  15. butterball is a solid player for the salary he is on.
  16. dumb to throw it...they were never going to get myers anyways.
  17. I think not eventually giving Sanchez an opportunity to start would be ridiculous. As far as starting him in the bullpen to start the year next year; I can see the argument that this wouldn't be worst thing in the world, but I would still prefer him as a starter next year.
  18. I'm not scrambling for excuses. I have an opinion. McGee is a good pitcher. He hits his spots better. He's a more mature pitcher. His fastball doesn't move as much as Sanchez'. They are different pitchers. Sanchez has a 65% ground ball percentage...McGee has a 40% ground ball percentage. Sanchez will get more whiffs as he utilizes the fastball less, learns to pitch and hits spots better. It's a combination of command, knowledge and the utilization of other pitches to keep hitters guessing more. I get it. You disagree with me. It's a free country. Sanchez is still a great young pitcher. Do you disagree?
  19. he also is 27. He comes in late in games facing a lot of lefties. He sees more righties now, but for a long time it was a steady diet of righties. Sanchez will learn to improve all pitches including his fastball in time. McGee is a pretty great pitcher too.
  20. I hope the irony of your post isn't lost on you..lol
  21. hey moogster....I was convinced Sanchez was going to have a terrible night and make you look smart....oh well....I guess there's always tomorrow...surely he will implode next time he's in there.
