I like gibby, and I try and give him the benefit of the doubt, but give me a break. Buehrle has given up 10 earned runs in his last 8 starts.

league average obp in the AL is .315 and PIllar's league average is .318 and he has shown a lot of improvement throughout the season getting to that point. His Defense and base running is well above average. He's an everyday player in my books. I'm surprised how many people still see him as a stop gap. He's 26 and isn't a free agent until 2021. He's got a lot of trade value if you want to get rid of him. I'd be open to trading Pompey because of what Pillar's done this year, and I'd be happy keeping both. I didn't think much of Pillar coming into the season, but he's been one of the best surprises of the season. He's developed into a nice asset.

bautista's crying is nothing compared to the crying you are doing right now and bautista rightly complains about lots of calls throughout the season and often buys himself a lot of close calls that should probably be strikes. He is playing with passion.....

key word being prospects for a 4.5 years of a sure thing. You aren't going to get anything if you aren't willing to give up anything. I really didn't think much of Pillar at the beginning of the season, but he's shown growth in all phases of the game and isn't a free agent until 2021 and might make Pompey available for trade.
