    Morosi is a huge troll. He's such a tool. He comes on Tim&Sid and the Fan often enough to get a sizeable Canadian following, and then just tweets things to get that specific audience riled up.     Kevin Pillar has the worst plate approach of all time. I can't stand this guy at the plate. I've never seen someone pop out while seeing less than 4 pitches in my life

    Dont get me wrong, I get where you're coming from and I agree Pompey up here would make our team better than what we're getting with Lake. But for the purposes he will be used I think its a minor upgrade and could ultimately could hinder the development of an important future player who needs to be swinging and seeing pitches everyday.

    He's had a chance to be consistent in AAA where he's posted a .729 OPS which is a mere 14 points better than Lake. But more importantly this is about playing every day and getting consistent AB's. If he's coming up here to platoon he's not going to get the chance to do that and prove his consistency. It makes more sense to keep him in AAA and develop a better plate approach than stay up here and get the odd AB and pinch run. We may need him to be an every day OF next year.

    We're not going to trade Bautista while we're in contention. Additionally a trade simply doesn't line up with any other team. Bautista would only waive to go to another contender, and its unlikely another contender will have excess MLB ready pitching to unload in order to obtain Bautista

    Lake has been up since June 24th, almost a month, and has received 31 PA's. Pompey hasn't even come close to showing the consistency required to play at this level, let alone rot on the bench for a month when he could be developing.
