Lineups: Who cares? Kawasaki is hitting second for some reason I think.
Remember, having fun is the most important thing.
The problem with Dwight Smith Jr. is that the consensus seems to be that he can't stick at CF but doesn't have the bat to be a regular in LF. There were rumours he was making the switch to 2B, where he'd become a nice prospect if he could play there.
Daniel Norris gave up 5 hits, including 3 doubles in the second inning to allow three runs. He's got 2 Ks and 0 BBs through 2.
Pompey bunted for a single in the bottom of the first and buffalo scored 3 runs that inning.
Edit: And Pompey picks up his second single in the bottom of the 2nd.
With his arm angle you'd expect Castro to be tough on righties and if his changeup is truly a plus pitch and if he can get that slider developed he'll have some great weapons against lefties too.
Top 100 prospect this offseason?
Is it possible for someone to be a bust just two months after being drafted? lol
Because Matt Morgan has been absolutely horrid. He's hitting .090 with a 4 wRC+ in a complex league.
I think if Sanchez could add a cutter it would help him immensely. Though probably not realistic because of the huge natural run on his fastball? I don't know much about those things.
That 93 mph changeup that he's thrown just a couple of times has ridiculous movement but probably has to be altered to be an effective pitch. He definitely needs something to succeed as a starter, though.
A few Blue Jays relevant answers from the latest BA prospect hot sheet chat. Plus an appearance from one of our own board members, John Havok.
