    Your most likely right because AA would be gone if we had to rebuild but that is the wrong Move IMO. EE , Bautista , Reyes , could net 2 each , Dickey 1 + Rasmus 1 + Meh maybe only 8 plus some decent guys for Buehrle and Bull pen pieces .

    Not that it will happen but with about 600 to 700 million being pumped into the 30 teams and the free agent market thin and hugely overpriced it would be a great year for teams to rid themselves of high priced bad contracts . Think of the haul AA could get if we pulled a marlin type rebuild . If we aren't in the thick of it in July we can still get a haul . How many top 100 guys or former ones who are in the majors do you think we could get . 10 ?

    Everyone in Cuba makes basically the same wage plus they get their ration of beans , rice , and chicken . I had a doctor as a tourist guide , She said because of tips she made way more and that is why the tourist industry jobs are the best in the country .

    MLB and Japanese baseball still haven,t worked out a new agreement .. Their new union is also involved in the talks. Some speculation that a deal won,t get done soon and Tanaka won,t get posted this year . Now that would really put a crimp in the Yankee,s plans

    I stated that they gave me a chuckle. You didn't,t find his whole quote on AANeeding a bucket rather than a linker funny . He put together a pretty funny analogy of the situation May a well post something funny which Nick did and Spanky does as just print whining like boxy does Don,t take it wrong , laughing at how he worded it . It is true . We are in deep s*** and all we can do is hope and pray.

    LOL NJH , At least when I come on the board you , the Stache or Spanky make me laugh . ### AA needs a bucket, not a lunker. Start bailing water (eg. making responsible decisions) and maybe the SS Anthopoulos won't sink. #### Now that may be the best one ever on this board Hurl has it right , Hope and Pray . Still , whenever I get real depressed about this team I think about how screwed the Yankees are even if they spend 75 mil and try and stay under the Dodgers instead of the luxury tax

    Yea Jay. Nothing is happening but writers still need something so they print what they think are likely scenarios. If the hunting was decent I,d just do that but wolves and a hard winter have really screwed that up . Very few big deer and the Elk are thinned right out in my area. Guess I,ll just go Wolf hunting this weekend

    This is. One of the reasons more gm,s should stop dealing with boras. The O,s will be screwed when they lose Wieters and Davis but He takes all his clients to free agency. Detroit,s dilemma with Schertzer. Hard to trade when the receiving team will only get 1 year. I,m one who agrees with the Jays "" no Boras and No 6 year contracts . Just wish AA would agree with my build thru the farm system

    Most have moved on past the Lind hate. Even ECJF has quieted on his hate but the Dogg is too stupid . He thinks he,ll still get approval for hating on Lind The hate has moved on to JPA and AA .

    The reason the O,s are shopping Weiters is both He and Davis are Boras clients . They made two offers to Weiters to extend him and he like Davis will go the FA route. There is no way I would trade for a Boras client as you know your not extending him .

    Yep. We trade for Samardzija it will be another gut job on the minors. I can see it now ,by the end of July,s trade deadline we will have the worst minor league system in baseball and an aging team with 1.5 years of control.

    Lets think ! What do I want more . Aroid suspended for a long time cause I absolutely hate the the ******* or the Yankees having to pay him the 20+ mil and not gain the cap room . Hell I,m losing no matter what ! I have hated that guy forever but the thought of the yankees getting away from paying him20 + mil to put up league average #,s is ********

    Because stupidity reins supreme at this time of year . Buffalo needs a DH/1B and i for one really want to keep that city happy so I thought this was a good move . Who do they think AA should sign to play in Buffalo Kendrys Morales ??

    Not sure about other PED,s but HGH should be legal . Just allows bodies to heal , fountain of youth and no sure test so why this is illegal makes no sense . When your paying a guy 20 mil and you can keep him on the field more why not .

    Can't see more than 100 games . He has tested positive once in MLB,s sample tests that were not to go public . He has also been linked to his so called Cousin who was banned from clubhouses and the Canadian doctor convicted of smuggling HGH across the border. Lots of smoke but the Bosch testimony is the only thing that counts.

    LOL The haters have moved on from calling for Lind's head Wasn't ECJF one of Lind's worst haters . Wonder who they hate next year if JPA isn't there . Hell I want Ruiz badly but I just feel JPA is fixable .

    I do want him in AAA because I think his bat is fixable . Unfortuately at 2.8 mil the team can't afford it . What i do think is that we will be able to trade him . Won't get much but if I were the Cubs or a rebuilding team with money I would grab him . BTW , Did the f***ing Title thread have JPA in it . You always need to hate someone and go overboard at it . Last few years it has been Lind . FFS Geow up !

    MLB radio was talking about this and unfortunately I didn't,t get all the details however league average OPS was 787 in year 2000 and was 702 in the NL last year . OBP was 345 in 2000 and was 317 in the AL this year and under 315 in the NL . Does anyone know a site that gives the league averages ,especially for the last 3years as offense and especially power is on a huge decline
