    Vik , no doubt we have holes , Hell huge ones if we aren't healthy but the emergence of Hutch and McGowan 3 innings has me more upbeat . Bench is slightly improved and even with the healthy issues of Casey the Bullpen is deep and strong with depth in AAA . I see a minor trade coming from this depth . The one issue bothering me is Happ , I thought he had options and could be sent down , now I learn he can't . A minor injury right now to Happ would be advantageous .

    Tigers have absolutely NO rotation depth NONE , They can't trade a starter especially with Sanchez,s shoulder issues . I still can't believe they gave away Fister .

    It isn't as bad as it looks . Hutch has pitched well and looks ready . Two of Redmond , Rogers , Happ or Morrow will eventually show up . McGowan made 45 pitches and looked good . If he rebounds and can do it again then they may slowly stretch him out . Stroman needs work but Sanchez is starting to look better and both could be ready at some point this year . The bench is ugly , but Tuiasosopo helps . The real ugliness is NO positional depth . Jays can't afford any position player DL stints

    Yup , Send him down now and lets see who wins the 5th job and BP pieces . Time to get the regular lineup in along with the guys like Gose who are on the cusp . 8 more games left and 7 guys need starts .

    God I hope this spring indicates a rebound season for Lawrie . In fact I need a rebound season from Lawrie , Castro and Alonso to compete in my dynasty league .

    I,m sure he would love to get DFA,d but I like the fake injury the best . then you can send him to the minors for 30 days for rehab plus his 15 day DL you have 45 days to make a decision . McGowan fits best if not starting then as a high leverage reliever . If they have him as the long man that means future starter .

    So what do we do with Happ?

    It is good to see the kid pitching as well as he has this spring but he will go to AA and build up his innings . We have to hope we kept the right guy after all the deals so he has to make a big step this year and seems like he is ready to do that . Just have no idea what they will do with Happ if he doesn't start getting thru 5 innings . Can't send him down , sure he would gladly jump ship and go to where he wants to pitch somewhere in the NL . Maybe he goes to the BP as long man till he gets it together . Faking a DL stint would be the best .

    People forget that UCL surgery is not always effective . 15 to 20 % failure rate . And with all the latest going back for their second that may increase . Perez pitched well before the injury but now he has had a second surgery for bone chips ( I think ) and TO can't afford the 40 man roster spot .

    I was talking about American Hustle . Like I said i had listened to the hype too much , Wasn't bad but I thought it would be great from the reviews . Trouble with the curve did not warrant a trip to the theater but I did watch it on TV . Thankfully I did not spend 13 $ .

    They dropped out of the bidding finally but they were the #2 team , Cincy just went a lot higher

    Definitely picked up but all the hype had me thinking this was going to be a great flick and it wasn't .

    You would want a scout to have a look at him right now , make sure he throwing like he always has . Just makes sense when you have all these guys sitting around . Supposedly we have the most scouts so He might as well give them something to do .

    Can Kratz catch the Knuckle ball ?? How has he looked cause Navarro sure as hell can't . If Kratz is really good defensively then he may wind up as the #1 guy . Doubt he hits much but I have little faith in Dioner . I suspect he may just go back to the fat lazy bastard he was in Tampa and LA . lets face it he has only had a 1/2 season of decent ball in the last 5 years . As for Rogers vs Redmond meh I'll let the coaches decide who is best . Not sure what we can do with Happ other than try and fake a DL stint then send him for rehab and pray he improves .

    Morrow just flat out needs more time and with his history they are taking it slow with him . The good thing is that Hutch is pitching very well and fits great between dickey and Buehrle . Sure we need Morrow to step back up and pitch to his potential but It will all flesh out in April and in the mean time be thankful hutch is pitching like a two .

    The only place Romero is going is to Buffalo unless the DL goes crazy . He needs to prove he has his walk rate down . He could do with a few more K,s too . I think he can do that and help this team down the road

    yes there is speculation they will trade young pitching but they want young controlable offensive players close to the majors which is something the jays don't have . i just don't see us matching up

    This team needs Morrow to grab the two spot . He has to be the top of rotation guy that the stuff indicates . Early enough yet that he can progress to that point . I still expect Happ to be in the 5 slot to spit up the lefties however it now comes down to best team and the back injury has set him back . Bonus is he has options . Last couple of weeks are going to be very interesting as to who wins spots , who is DFAd and who winds up at AAA .

    Yea , I got Parker in two of my leagues and in those leagues there is no one to replace him . Had to grab Lucas Harrell . I might be alright if Robby Ross gets the 5th spot in Texas

    Christ jay I hope you work thru this . I had friends who had the surgery and they all finally got healthy . My lower disks are wore out but when that back doctor showed me what the surgery involved I said thx but I,ll pass .
