    I can't disagree Vik , Was Kratz so terrible catching Dickey ? Goins needs to be in AAA as I don't see him learning to hit in the majors . Bench is going to be weak no matter what thou.

    Agreed Pretty much a guess who would be the better option with the bat . I would probably send Goins down since he has options . Team just can't afford to have DL stints from the main 7 position players . I still would love to pry Sean Rodriguez out of Tampa as I believe he would do fine if give a permanent job at his best position .

    Lineup can't afford too many more DL stints by the main 7 because we have NO positional depth . Still If the diabetic duo come around and start pitching to their ability it will be an interesting season . Going to enjoy it .

    Not sure if anyone posted this but a fan fell at the game last nite and is in Critical condition . Anyone heard from Jay ? om the Montreal Gazette: According to a release, the man, in his 40s, fell while walking to his seat, falling 10 to 15 metres to the ground below. Police say the call was received at 10:45 p.m., at or near the end of an exhibition between the Toronto Blue Jays and the New York Mets. Too old for Jay . Stay safe guys Police were on the scene after the game. It was not immediately clear where the incident took place, or if the man fell during the game.

    He played his way out of Tampa cause he got Fat and Lazy . Ditto LA then seemed to get in shape last year

    After watching the gong show at 2nd base last year as long as Goins plays good defense I don't see how anyone can complain . The defense was the worst I have ever seen from a Jays infielder and as long as he hits over 200 his bat will be as good as we got from the clowns that played there last year . The only player I will hate on is Navarro if he reverts to the lazy ways he played in Tampa and LA . If he plays like he did last year then I'm fine . Sure didn't look like he came to camp in shape ?

    If this team is way out of it at the deadline they better be trading some of these guys . Rasmus will be gone as he is an FA , Bautista if healthy gets value . Lots of BP pieces that should be dealt . Depends what AA gets for value . Eat some salary and Buehrle would be attractive to some teams .

    And he has accepted this , wow that is great news , Now we can keep him there for 125 day DL and 30 day rehab . If he isn't pitching well by then ,well it would be DFA time .

    Grabbed Ross in the shark tank Vik and good thing . I've lost Parker , for the year , now Darvish and Sanchez is hurting .

    That should settle the 8 man BP question . No way they can go into the season with only 1 infielder as backup and 1 hurting .

    I'm not going to panic till they put him on the DL . As I have been posting this team cannot afford any position player DL time .

    If we get as lucky and as healthy as Boston did last year then we can compete fo a playoff position . Health is the key but that is ditto for all the AL east teams . I'm not as high on the yankees as most nor as high on the Red Sox . Yanks infield is brutal and the Sox lost key guys in Elsbury and Drew . Rays will be tough butthere are key guys they can't lose either .

    Unless you put Reyes on the DL that is what you have ,but since they can backdate the DL stint even if he plays minor league games I suspect Kawasaki will be up .

    Bowden on MLB radio about the Jays . "" I feel as comfortable saying they will finish last in the AL East as I am saying the Astros and Cubs will be last in their division . They are far behind the other 4 teams in that division . WTF Bowden , I frigging hope we stay healthy cause if we do we are going to surprise a lot of people .

    Well he has the number since Boras keeps phoning both Beeston and AA but he has been told to NEVER dial those #,s Boras says that he and Paul have made up but the day the jays sign a Boras client Beeston will roll over in his grave because he will have been long dead .

    Boras made the call as soon as he heard the news ,. I can just hear his voice dripping with false sympathy .I don't think Texas bites . I still see Illich finally stepping in and giving Drew a 1 year deal after the season starts so he can't get a QO .

    McGowan has more quality starts than Morrow Navarro reverts to his Fat and Lazy play that got him released from Tampa and LA . Rasmus has stellar first half and is dealt at the deadline Gose replaces him and finally discovers a hit tool

    I agree ,which is why I think he winds up in the BP. Remember how arrogant he was last year when he thought he might be sent down . He stated he was a proven MLB starter so a BP stint may get him going .

    I'm sure he would be more than happy to jump ship with full pay . They will put him in the BP before they do that even if they have to option Loup .

    Happ to the DL till he sorts himself out would be great but I think he will wind up in the BP . As for Dustin , They are going to see how he feels today and then when he pitches again how he feels . That seems to be the deciding factor on whether they keep stretching him out . He has the most upside of everyone except Morrow . If Dusty can give us 30 starts and Morrow gets sorted out and gives 30 starts then this is a good rotation and you know what ,those two and this team deserves a little luck . I know it would be like winning the lottery but we are due some luck.
