  1. The Nats had no plan with Strasbourg and paid a heavy price when they needed him for the playoffs .
  2. In spite of AA saying Hutch and Morrow will not be on an Innings limit I find it hard to believe that the jays will change their whole limits philosophy . I expect Hutch to be held to Strasbourg like innings 160 or so . Morrow MAY get to 180 but what Dusty will be held to is ???? . 120 /140 ? Hutch at 26 to 27 starts , Morrow probably 26 to 28 and Dusty 20 to 24 . We are probably lacking 18 starts or so yes Stroman may be ready . Sanchez would be innings limited too . Seems to me Happ and Redmond will be very important . Would you have them miss starts , DL them or just let it play out .
  3. good post +1
  4. This is the only position that we could replace without much loss . Still it is a loss He had made the adjustment to the turf and was definitely better defensively plus was a switch hitter . Kawasaki will have to platoon with Diaz . It is a loss just not as bad as losing any other player .
  5. Then they should have given him his wish for 30 frigging days he could have started at AAA . Teach the arrogant bastard some humility. I just tell the guy ."" you said you don't want to be in the BP so we will let you start at AAA .
  6. I,m disliking this guy more and more . Wonder if McGowan didn't rebound good after his start ???
  7. There was no need to bring him up . We had a 30 day rehab window . I just don't get it unless they have something else in the wind . Right now I see trying to slip Rogers thru waivers and if it doesn't work OH well !
  8. Makes absolutely no sense NOT to do that . He should have made at least 4 or 5 starts in the minors unless they are going to try and slip Rogers thru Waivers
  9. I'm hoping for 20 starts (120 innings ) but we all know it could blow up anytime . With Dusty at 120 and you have to think they will hold Hutch to around 160 and who knows with Morrow you have to worry about who pitches in Sept . I 'm thinking of asking for ideas in a thread on this
  10. Santos,s slider is unhittable by this game was all about Dusty,s first win in almost 6 years . I just Have to feel great for the guy.
  11. I want to get as LUCKY this year as the Red Sox did last year
  12. Great start Dusty . Now shut these O,s down and get Dusty the Frigging W. 6 years between wins Frig if this rotation can stay healthy we actually have a shot
  13. Tillman took down 10 strait against the Tigers in his last start
  14. McGowan getting his pitches up . Get him thru 6 then go to the BP
  15. Give some credit to Tillman . He beat Verlander last start . Think it was 2-1 O,s
  16. Hill popped everything up that year . most of them in the infield
  17. McGowan has good command tonite As I say that hge groves one down the middle to Young
  18. Goins is lost , Can't wait for Reyes . Even Kawasaki
  19. They are missing two Gold Glovers in Hardy and Machado
  20. Tillman now throwing a lot more pitches besides the runs scoring . Shades of the Jays last year
  21. No Pat Goins won't get the chance to get it up here . Hopefully he will in Buffalo
