Great win tonite. Huge comeback and hopefully that picks them up after the dismal west coast swing . Lets win one tomorrow and then worry about the sweep. Kawasaki is a big loss thou ,little guy has played well so I hope it is only day to day . Ditto Reimold who I think was a huge pickup. Christ we may have to sacrifice Fatcow,s virginity soon. Either that or sacrifice a virgin. I vote King!

I just am not willing to deal top talent for a slim shot at winning the division. Sure if you trade for a key piece that is controllable going forward a few years then I don't have a problem, but I don't like the idea of giving up talent for a rental .

i agree that is the position to fill BUT! With all these injuries I'm not sure I would be willing to waste any talent for a trade. Non of the injured are back till August some time. This latest one plus the sloppy play of the last few games has me thinking it is turtle time . You can't replace those three bats with one deal. Reimold could possibly replace 1 bat but losing all three at the same time is as ugly as it gets.

That means anyone could have claimed him and assumed the remainder of his $9MM salary for 2014. No one bit.

Beeston. How soon People forget how bleak the minor league talent was before AA got the job . I'm of the belief rogers and the Beest engineered the gutting of the system. Fortunately AA has rebuilt it.

God forbid AA panics like some on this board and starts dealing away the future. hell I want to see playoff ball in TO too but not at the cost of becoming the next Phillies.

Have you looked at the O,s schedule for July . Sure we have some crippling injuries but in this mediocre division all we have to do is stay close till we get some bats back and this team can go on a run. O's are about to start 17 of 20 games against teams that are as good or better than them.

Injuries to key people piling up but this one may be the worst. Thankfully the Allstar break takes up some of this time. Added to this is the walking wounded like Lind,and Bautista. To stay in the race everyone is going to have to pick it up.

He didn't have any choice but to gamble since he had no money to play with and that was the biggest downfall. BTS pointed this out after the trades that we would be hamstrung in 2014 and he was right on. Personally I blame the Beest and Rogers. Why add all that and go all in then put on the brakes. Still Infante cost 8 mil/24, I'm sure you could get Prado and 3 mil/year for a b prospect. Now is Rogers willing to add that much ?
