    Exactly. Why try to recoup value in the AL east,s hitters parks. This is also another reason why no FA pitchers want to pitch here.

    Never been a Pillar fan but he has done nothing but succeed at every level except at the majors. With the lack of position players in the higher minors we need Pillar to succeed here. Does anyone think Pompey can make the jump next year?

    Someone will take a flier on him hoping to strike it rich. He will get an incentive laden contract with a small min. If he is smart he changes his training a little to include a lot of stretching to avoid the muscle strains. Gave us glimpses of talent but like Mcgowan just can't stay on the field so as the Hawk would say " He Gone "

    Angels have no money to afford Buehrle next year. Moreno refuses to pay lux tax so any pitcher they trade for must be cheap. Hell they couldn't even afford Colon. plus they have no prospects to move. The farm is bare.

    No matter how you spin it Moogy ,Navarro is the worst starting catcher defensively in the majors. as for his bat , I didn't expect more. It is above replacement level

    A good catcher keeps that in front of him and not only does the run not score but the runners don't advance. Navarro has been lazy like this his whole career. This isn't new, hell Tampa and LA will tell the same story. Yea he got in shape and did ok for the Cubs in a back up role last year but soon as he got the two year deal right back to out of shape and Lazy.

    After last years defensive nightmare you would think AA and Gibbons would have thought defense when signing a catcher. Instead they get this piece of s***.

    If we don't get a REAL catcher next year it will be on AA head. Wasn't a secret that Navarro was a lazy ass behind the plate and not in good shape
