You're right, he's actually in the top 1/3 of the league in hard hit%, but bottom 1/4 of the league in expected wOBA...
his problem is his average 6.2 degree launch angle. Driving everything right into the ground.
That's a pretty stupid comment for someone to make, Tulo and Galvis are totally different players. Galvis would have been a good pickup even if we kept Tulo
I wouldn't normally put any stock in such things but Giles was clearly a head case last year so I guess I could see it being true before.
Giles appears much more well adjusted this year so I think he should be alright
