  1. He ended the season with a 2 for 4 game, and a BB. Both hits were doubles.
  2. MLB Pipeline always seems to have recent draftees ranked higher than most.
  3. Puts the MLB bench clearing to shame.
  4. States even tried keeping Kristian Robinson out.
  5. Can't see the USA granting him a work visa.
  6. He probably accidentally ordered a 14 year old wife. He might of assumed she was older from the listing.
  7. RPs just seems to be so volatile. I wonder what the success rate is in these high valued closer contracts.
  8. Sometimes holding guys like FVV and letting them go to free agency might be a good thing. It shows the team isn't willing to budge from their trade price. This can help in future negotiations and help get what they're looking for. If the team always rolls over and accepts best offer teams will know they don't need to up their offers if they want the guy.
  9. Even his May and June wasn't anything to write home about. wRC+ of 86 and 99 for those 2 months. His July is really what saved his season, dude had a .997 OPS that month.
  10. Whit was a below average offensive player? He was our 3rd least productive hitter. IKF is legit a lateral move with the bat, except we upgrade on defense.
  11. Some people can’t seem to understand that. He probably didn’t just go lay around a beach somewhere. It’s quite possible he trained as a SP this past year. Throwing sim-games is all he would have had to do.
  12. Every SP starts fresh every year. For all we know Rodriguez might have been throwing simulated games this past year and bumping his pitch count up to 100.
  13. I'd stretch him out in ST in case we need him as the #5 SP to start the year. Ideally White's changes from late last season stick and we're able to roll with him as our #5. Rodriguez could be a good backup option, along with Francis.
  14. IKF has a higher EV than Bellinger.
  15. Ya, I guess it's just 2 years then. Was just going off the quick look I took and seen he had a sub .800 OPS.
  16. Not Atkins. He's sliding directly into Bellinger's DM's
  17. Atkins is messaging Bellinger every day checking to see if he's ready for a 1 year deal. I'm starting to wonder if any team is willing to bite the bullet and go 5 years. He might almost be better to go 1 + player option and test the market again next year at age 29. Teams are probably still extremely hesitant for a long term deal because of his 3 s***** years in a row.
  18. His walk rate is also extremely concerning. There were 2 months last season where his BB/9 was over 7. He's doing that tight rope dance.
  19. FS is one of the few posters I actually had to break down and IL. His back to back to back to back s***** posts saying to sign Carl Crawford or whoever is just too much.
  20. I wonder what the Jays’ model says for IKF. BR had him at 3.0 and 3.6 for 2022 and 2021. Chapman over those same 2 years were 3.5 and 3.5.
  21. Springer turns back the clock - We had a lot of guys struggle last year, easy to see a return to a >130wRC+. His season total was really brought down by a couple brutal months. Schneider 30 HR - Hit 8 in 35 games. He was on a 37/162 pace. This includes his cold streak. IKF gold glove - Has already won one. Jansen stays healthy - He needs some luck and more body armour. Kirk mashes - Not sure what he means by mashes. But he’s got a good bat. Always the chance he’s turned some of his fat into muscle this off-season. Varsho goes 30/20 - Hit 27/16 already and is just entering his prime. Do I think all of this will happen? Nope.
  22. Thing is, all those are realistic. Chance of all happening the same year is extremely slim. But they’re all legit possible.
  23. Atkins waits out the market and gets a banging 3 year deal on Soler who then repeats his 2023 season and is a top 20 bat at for our DH.
  24. Looking for that larger deal next time around. SF seems to have good success with SPs so a good place to give it a go.
  25. It doesn’t work that way. It wouldn’t be +7 for the team. Other current players would lose their laying time which would decrease their projected WAR.
