Anyone looking for an ace RP? Mike Mayers or Tyler Duffey can be had for a pick or pick upgrade. Daniel Ponce de Leon could also be moved for the same. -
I don't think Cohen did anything wrong. It's a business, players use different tactics all the time to gain an advantage in negotiations why can't the owners. Cohen might be also protecting the team and himself from fan outrage. Usually if a player doesn't sign an extension the fans blame the team, which could hurt attendance/revenue. Him coming out and announcing the offer shows that they were willing to give him more than a fair offer. The owners priority is to protect the team, which is what he did. Do you think if the team low balled Lindor, his agent or Lindor himself wouldn't have leaked that info? As for this effecting future free agents, I think this will have very little play on that. The players will still go where the money is.

Sounds like they did fail. Mets final offer was rejected. So it's alright for the the player representative to reveal offers but not the team? Kind of one sided.

I think owners should do this more often. The offer is probably still an overpay.

Betts > Lindor No way would I give Lindor his asking price of 12/385. I agree with Cohen, 10/325 is more than fair.

That doesn't sound right. You're probably doing something wrong. You should be able to switch them around in the same move. I just did it. I moved Texier to the BN and then Merzlikins to the DL, then I submitted roster changes.
