    The positive of the new 28 September roster limit is the Rays should still be playing a lot of their regulars in that last series vs NY instead of all backups which they could have if they had their full 40-man roster to work with.

    Sounds good. Should we use the draft room? So auto notifications are sent out and you can make a pick list. If you don't create a pick list and you miss your window it'll autodraft the highest ranked player on Fantrax I believe.

    Wasn't really the whole month. It was from the 3rd to the 29th. Only 2 HR with a .672 OPS

    He needs to avoid that August cold streak he hit this year. With more experience I think he should be able to avoid those homer-less streaks.

    Are you disagreeing that relievers can't be volatile within the season? If so, have to not seen Kimbrel's stats? In case you haven't let me break his season out for you. Cubs - 39 games. 0.49 ERA. Allowed ERs in 2 of those games. 1ER and 1ER. Whitesox - 13 games. 6.57 ERA. Allowed ERs in 5 of those games. 3ER, 3ER, 1ER, 1ER, 1ER. Happens when they don't even switch teams. Devin Williams. He was 2nd ranked RP in WAR last year. First 22 games this year he had a 4.22 ERA, looked lost at times. Over the 31 games since those first 22 he's had a 0.31ERA.

    I'm okay with this deal. In hindsight we should have traded Adams for some other mediocre reliever, but we rolled the dice on Hand. We can't be carrying 5 catchers on the 40-man roster, and he was blocked at the major league level. He'd be 4th on the depth chart. Atleast we got a lottery ticket RP for him for the stretch run, the process was solid but the outcome wasn't favourable. Good chance we would have lost him this offseason for nothing.

    I disagree with this statement. What if the team signed Joe Panik to a minor league contract? Montoyo would then demand he make the team out of spring training. Panik would then go on to start in half of the team's games. Bad minor league signing.

    Yahoo works the same way. In the lineups it didn't show up as a double header. So I think it's just an is what it is type situation. Since it's a game carried over from a previous day it counts for the day it was carried over from.

    Polanco still hits the ball hard. No risk, potential reward situation. 97 percentile in Max Exit Velocity, 84 percentile in HardHit%. Also has above average speed, avg exit velocity, and barrel%. Good chance he ends up doing nothing for us. But there's also a slight chance the organization can unlock his bat, since the Pirates haven't been able to.

    Gregory Polanco always had the talent. Just could never stay healthy and I think injuries have finally worn him down. I like this signing though, see if there's a way to bring him back to life.

    In their FAQ... Q: How are suspended games treated? Which date/period do they count towards, and how do lineup lock times work? A: Unlike postponed games, all stats/points from suspended games count towards the original game date. Also, lineups are locked according to the original start date/time, not the continuation start date/time. Think of a suspended game as a long rain delay.

    I think the stats are still added to that week. But since that week is locked and has passed nothing happens. So it's like those stats don't exist.

    Do the makeup game stats count for the week the game was originally started?
