  1. I'm actually a fan of Hahn. As long as he can stay healthy. He has a nice fastball. And he's a Ray.
  2. Hopping back on the North49 bandwagon are ya...
  3. Out of all those prospects you mentioned Barnes was the one JaysFever actually liked the least.
  4. I actually got Parker + Jesse Hahn for my late 1st. Parker equaled out to a mid-second round pick.
  5. Good ol' fashioned 4-way just went down. To Northof49: Matt Barnes To Jays Fever: MiLB pick #31 To Zeros: MiLB pick #20 To The Cats Ass: Jarrod Parker and Jesse Hahn
  6. Boxy, you're not allowed to hog all the picks.
  7. I heard of this guy that goes by JPA, heard he's pretty clutch. A lot of game winning homers. Maybe we should look at bringing him in.
  8. Could just be at the Crew Chief's discretion on what he feels is a timely matter.
  9. Doesn't really matter if the stadium shows the replay or not, both teams will have a guy that has access to the video feeds. The manager might not even be the guy that ends up making the decision, could be the guy in the video booth. "Teams will be allowed to have a club employee monitoring video and communicating with the manager whether or not to challenge. Both the home and road teams must have equal access to all video, but no additional electronic equipment will be allowed."
  10. It say that.. "The manager will verbally inform the umpire of his intention in a timely manner" doesn't really give a time limit, but my guess would be the same as Sammy's until the next pitch is thrown.
  11. I can't see this working at all. First, why would they wate their challenge like that. If they use their challenge on a play that's not even close it would take what, 1 or 2 minutes for them to review the play. Hardly enough time to "ice the pitcher". It would be no different then a pitcher having to sit on the bench every half inning.
  12. Basketball coaches have challenges... What? It'll add what, 5 minutes to the game? They waste more time making a pitching change after every batter.
  13. As do I. It'll be interesting to see how many calls actually get overturned. And how often the crew chief calls for a review on his own.
  14. http://mlb.mlb.com/news/article/mlb/mlb-approves-expanded-instant-replay-beginning-with-2014-season?ymd=20140116&content_id=66737912&vkey=news_mlb This is huge! Each manager gets 1 challenge. Starting in the 7th inning the Crew Chief can call for a review. Pretty much any kind of play will be allowed to be challenged.
  15. So in your opinion someone like Aaron Boone is a great player.... Got it.
  16. A deadline around April 23rd wouldn't be too bad.
  17. Ya, He wasn't really bad until he went to LA. People tend to think he was worse then what he actually was because of his stupid contract.
  18. He was an above average hitter for 6 of his 9 years here.
  19. 10 yrs/ 200M. He finds out he's actually Canadian and signs with the Bluejays at a hometown discount.
  20. Josh Beckett? Tommy Hanson? Colby Lewis? Jeff Locke?
  21. But then once he signs his big contract is he gonna let himself go again...
  22. http://ca.sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nhl-puck-daddy/nhl-dodger-stadium-game-beach-volleyball-court-roller-212547686--nhl.html Everything but baseball going on in a baseball field.
