I kinda like this trade for both teams. Both teams were able to fill a hole they were looking to fill, while dealing from their strengths.

If we don't get Tanaka(which we won't), I'd like us to get Ubaldo. He was insane over the 2nd half. Actually, ever since his 4th start of the season. He seems to have re-discovered himself to an extent. -

I'd prefer Price. Freeman doesn't have huge power, more of a doubles hitter. I also think his avg/obp will drop this year, he had a .371babip this year.

Finally a blockbuster, seems like it's been a month since something happened. Dinger gets: David Price Jaysblue gets: Freddie Freeman I like this deal for Dinger. Even though Price has declining velocity I think he can still have a few great years. Jaysblue gets the younger player but I feel Freeman will never be in the top tier of 1B.

This could happen, with the consent of the player. So Cruz would know before signing that this was gonna be the case. Not sure this has happened before? But this does seem like an AA type thing to do, a way to work the system into a benefit for him.

Import Special I'm willing to trade the #1 Overall Waiver draft pick if I can get the right return. Of course it won't come cheap, but in return you'd have the pick of Abreu(a masher who is said to be the Cuban Miguel Cabrera) or Tanaka(a top starter who didn't lose a game last year). I figure I'd put this out there incase anyone really has a hard on for either of the top imports. It's an added bonus that a player of their talents won't count on this year's 20-man roster. It's not every year you have a chance to snag a player of their caliber with huge ceilings in the waiver draft. But like I said, it won't come cheap, everyone could always use another #1 starter or a 1B with 81 Power.

Ya, there's some changes I would make. But I probably can't complain a whole lot since I was the one who got Puig in the 2nd round. Jose Fernandez stands out, probably should have went top 5.
