  1. You'd be a terrible manager then. So instead of going with the RH/LH split advantage, the guy who's faster and therefore less likely to be doubled up, along with the guy who's been hitting better recently, you'd go with the guy that has a .220 OBP...
  2. Gose's OBP is a lot more sustainable then Pillar's. Gose's BB% is twice as high as what Pillar's is.
  3. And the fact Gose is a lot harder to double up.
  4. So now MiLB is the same as the MLB?
  5. Do you guys know what OBP is?
  6. You guys should kick him out even if he ends up in 16th.
  7. I'd laugh so hard if you won this week. Even if you didn't win another category the whole rest of the season, you'd have some material for the whole year.
  8. Choo wouldn't like the bench. Maybe you should just trade him to me.
  9. Nobody likes a quitter.
  10. We really are insignificant if you look at it. And what we actually see is so much less then what there actually is. Makes you think how much more there actually is that we don't know about.
  11. I doubt he'd take an extension. Comp pick would help some, but say he's injured next year or has a year like he did last year, then what?
  12. So I guess you think the Rays are going to get 4 stud prospects then for Price? I wouldn't say they'll at least get 2. They'll get 2 on the high end, if they're lucky. But then I guess it all depends on what you call a stud.
  13. That's a steep price for a pitcher that is a free agent after next year. He's not helping the Cubs make the playoffs, so they have no reason to hold onto him. I'd include one of those prospects + other lesser ones.
  14. Maybe he's taunting you by sticking his tongue out at you.
  15. http://1-ps.googleusercontent.com/h/www.catgifpage.com/gifs/220.gif.pagespeed.ce.zLRPYyS0Lk.gif
  16. I just don't see him as a top 25 player going forward. He will still continue to be one of the top catchers for a few years though.
  17. He doesn't have to. A .750 would put him in the top 5 SS.
  18. He gets the younger assets. I think Myers will out produce Posey as soon as next year. And I'd probably take Profar over Hutch. Not too many 21 yr old SS in the league. Gibbers takes on more risk, but gets the higher ceilings.
  19. But it has the potential too. That's why we should make another trade with them before Snydergaard and TDA bust.
  20. I would support this. Still on the right side of 30. Mets have been talking about moving him since the offseason. Makes a lot of sense. Plus they owe us from the last trade.
  21. Despaired enough to make a silly trade? I have some nice OFers and a spare 1B...
  22. I look forward to my matchup with him this week. Should be a good one.
