  1. If you had a choice and could only sign one, who would you rather sign right now: Nick Pivetta or Tanner Scott?
  2. Funny Travis Snider story. Went down to Boston in 2009 for my 21st birthday and the Jays were playing at Fenway at the end of August. Stayed at the same hotel as the Jays so saw a bunch of Jays players in the lobby hanging out or in the bar after the games. Saw Travis Snider walk in to the lobby with these two knockout blondes and took them back to his room. Lucky guy haha.
  3. Was really excited when the Jays brought him back in 2004 after he was coming off a solid bounce back year with the Orioles. Sad to see the way his 2004 season went with the Jays but oh well.
  4. A likely reason why some FA's might want to avoid signing in Toronto.
  5. I can't wait to see Ana de Armas and Sydney Sweeney in Eden!
  6. Ross Atkins loves to troll us all.
  7. Lorenzen would have been a nice add as an arm who could either start or pitch multiple innings out of the pen. Rosario at $2M is a bargain. Had a 2.8 and 3 WAR in 2021 and 2022. Either way, he still can be a valuable utility guy if you're okay with the subpar glove.
  8. Yeah it can be annoying and tiring dealing with a bunch of these tire kickers. Once in the blue, you get a decent person to deal with. It's always best to list your items more than what you want to get in your pocket, because of this very reason. Even if you list something below value, you'll likely have a couple schmucks still asking if you can do better on the price. For example, if I'm okay with letting a video game go for $30, will list it at $40 since everyone messaging me asks if I could do a lower price. I then say yeah I can do $30 and usually will get someone to pick it up. If I list it at $30, every message will be asking if I could do a lower price. To avoid scammers on expensive items, always agree to meet at a police station, where they usually have a buy/sell exchange zones. When I sold an extra PS5 I had, met the buyer at a police station. Otherwise, I had people asking for my address or asking me to meet them in a parking lot of their apartment building lmao.
  9. 1 year deal worth $5M Doubt Quintana signs for that low, but maybe this impacts his market a bit and we get Quintana for around $8M-10M which would be swell.
  10. Atkins is that guy on Kijiji or Facebook Marketplace who always asks what's the best price and then sends you a lowball.
  11. I hope we can put things past us and move forward with a fresh start on this board. You're my Batman and I'm your Joker! We can't live without each other!
  12. We do know that Atkins was trying to figure out a way for that to be a possibility.
  13. Should recruit him to post on the new Jays Center!
  14. Deal is worth $15M
  15. I gotta give Ace Venture another watch soon haha! Classic!
  16. SuperFuzzBigMuff has become the new rival for Brownie haha.
  17. Yeah like Brock and L54 said, getting in and out of Dodgers Stadium can be chaotic. Even after the game, there isn't any area with bars/restaurants to hang out around to wait for traffic to die down. As well, the Stadium isn't really walkable from anywhere, so need to either drive or take an Uber. As long as you don't wear a San Francisco Giants jersey, you'll be good haha.
