Chavez was one of the best third basemen during those years. Sucks that his career was plagued by injuries later on. He did end up having some solid years as a bench guy in New York and with Arizona.

Well it wouldn't shock me to see them go after Price even harder especially if the Pirates land Lester. I don't think they need to add to their rumoured proposal at this point since having a package led by OT is already tough to turn down. -
Don't look into his 2014 stats. He's been pretty bad, though he's still just 24 and has a fantastic arm. I'd prefer Miller over those two still any day.

I'll be heading to Europe for two weeks on Sunday so likely will miss the trade deadline. If I make any deals I'd prefer to make them before I leave since I don't want to be discussing any deals when I'm away.

I'm still banging my head about that trade. Beltran is starting to hit now but still. V-Mart has been one of the best hitters in fantasy baseball this year.

Yeah won't be easy - we'll see what the next couple of weeks bring. I'm looking to improve my team moving forward so not just looking at this season - looking at 2015 and 2016 as well. I like my core in place with Posey, Freeman, Arenado, Tulo, Brantley, Garcia, d'Arnaud, Minor, Miller, Ross (thank you ), and Peralta, along with some other nice complimentary pieces I have.

I'm looking to make moves that both help me this year and moving forward. I have some young pieces I'm willing to move as well as some vets that I could move. My team had a lot of bad luck early on. I'm not looking to tank by any means. If I make the postseason then great. If not, I like my core that's intact moving forward.
