  1. I've scooped up a lot of goalies off the waiver wire in many of my hockey leagues before, like Pascal LeClaire, Craig Anderson, one of the Mason's, etc.
  2. Yeah that 7th round was pretty bad. All of us DDL'ers should be ashamed of ourselves!
  3. Don't we have 25 man rosters in hockey?
  4. Seager McCann Garza Fister Kendrick Niese Anibal Sanchez Chris Davis Jonathan Lucroy (NL MVP!) Hunter Pence All those guys taken in the 8th round after Peralta was drafted in the 7th.
  5. At least it was the last pick, not like in the 8th or 9th round lol
  6. 20 out of 25
  7. How does waivers work in this league? Is it like in the DDL?

  9. He isn't getting along with the twins and he's a Leaf.
  10. Joffrey Lupul OTB. Looking for a similar forward.
  11. I'm going to try and make the game tomorrow, just because King Felix is pitching.
  12. Yesterday's GDT of 2 pages I think was a new all-time low. Hopefully we beat that today.

The Canadian native has never faced Toronto. http://graphics.fansonly.com/photos/schools/nw/sports/m-basebl/01-02roster/Happ.jpg J.A. Happ, LHP 9-11, 4.35 ERA Happ will make his second-to-last start of the season at Rogers Centre. He's coming off an outing in which he allowed a pair of costly home runs to Baltimore's Steve Pearce. It was the sixth time this year he allowed multiple homers in a game. 14. True, but Kluber has 17 wins and has a chance for 18, something that also sways the voters.
  15. Heyward has shockingly kept his K rates down this season in comparisons to years past, and has been worth 5.1 WAR. I don't see them making a bold move by trading him unless they are blown away. Justin Upton could be dangled possibly.
  16. Cleveland has generated several Cy Young winners this past decade with Cliff Lee, CC Sabathia and now possibly Corey Kluber.
  17. The Braves need some offensive help. They have a bunch of streaky batters who get hold/cold very easily since their big bats strikeout a lot. Freeman, Johnson, Gattis, and both Upton's have high K%. They need to get rid of Chris Johnson at third base, and they need to get rid of BJ Upton. Also, they could improve at second base as well, since Tommy La Stella isn't that great of an option. As for their pitching, they need Minor to bounce back, and getting Medlen and Beachy back healthy and at 100% next season would definitely help. They have a solid young pitching core under control with Teheran and Alex Wood, along with Medlen, Beachy, Minor. They made some swift FA pickups with Harang and Santana to fill out their rotation and they still have a very good bullpen with Kimbrel, Walden, and Carpenter in the late innings. They still have a team that could contend next season, though they need to cut bait with Chris Johnson and BJ Upton and make improvements to their lineup.
  18. Discuss... Second straight 14 K game yesterday. Has posted a 7 WAR (0.9 WAR more than King Felix) along with a 2.59 xFIP and 258 K's vs 49 BB's. I think he gets my vote.
  19. I view Hutch with a ceiling of a middle rotation guy. Nothing more. Still he's valuable since he's young and controllable. Most middle rotation arms via free agency cost anywhere between $10-15 M.
  20. I'm looking to acquire any players who play for San Jose. Send me a PM. Also, I'd like to add another goalie if possible.
  21. I find in hockey, there are a lot of productive players who play well into their 30's, so having an old team on paper isn't all that bad. I tried drafting a mix of youth and vets, though many of the young guys got snatched up pretty early. Good thing I grabbed Gabriel Landeskog with my second pick. I've got guys in their mid-30's like the Sedin twins, Zetterberg, and Kromwall, though I think they could still be productive and perform at a high level into their late 30's. Plus, in a league of this size they are great trade chips to a contending team, more than a Jagr since they aren't above 40.
  22. I figure take a chance to see if he comes back to Detroit - he's holding a NA slot, so nothing to lose lol. I don't think my defense is that bad as well. I think Ehrhoff, and Myers both could have bounce back years, and I do like Justin Faulk.
  23. My team sucks: C Jonathan Toews C Henrik Zetterberg LW Gabriel Landeskog LW Daniel Sedin RW Joffrey Lupul RW Nathan Horton F Henrik Sedin F Charlie Coyle F Matthew Nieto D Niklas Kronwall D Christian Ehrhoff D Justin Faulk D Tyler Myers D Sergei Gonchar BN Dany Heatley BN Travis Zajac BN NA Daniel Alfredsson G Jonathan Bernier G Antti Raanta BN Evgeni Nabokov
