EE posted a 2.5 WAR this past season. Tellez was at 0.1 WAR. That's a huge upgrade. In terms of cost, EE would be great value on a 1-year deal.

I somewhat agree. Will be interesting to see how he performs against tougher teams. The road trip out west next week will be a big test. I still think Siakam can settle into a 23-24 PPG/10-12 RBG player when all is said and done. I'll take that in a heartbeat.

EE would be a nice fit at DH back here in Toronto. I doubt he costs more than 10-12 million on a 1-year deal. Could be a nice influence on Vladdy Jr and some of the other young hitters as well.

The Nationals are pretty evenly matched with Houston on paper IMO. It's not a huge upset by any stretch of the imagination. The Nationals have a really good team. A rotation led by Scherzer, Strasburg and Corbin is one of the best in baseball. -

Agree. Joe Kelly should not have been pitching that early in the game. Dodgers had far better options.

I said the Nats were going to upset the Dodgers. They were a dangerous team for them in the DS. Dave Roberts bullpen management after they took Walker was out was brutal.

Was just looking at his stats, and EE has 414 career home runs. Never realized he was that close to 500. Impressive, considering he never really broke out until later in his career at 29. You think he could reach that milestone? He still looks like a solid bet to deliver 30 + HR's per season as long as he's healthy.

Bailey isn't getting a 2-3 year deal worth 15M AAV lol. He had a solid rebound this season, but c'mon. No team is giving him that type of cash and term. Even Alex Wood. No team is giving him a multi-year deal, unless they throw in a club option. Free agency has changed.

Bills need a good QB or they aren't even getting close to a Super Bowl.

You still won your 3 championships in this league and nobody will take that away or erase those league records by just moving to Fantrax.

I prefer same day transactions. In Yahoo, the transaction takes place the next day (e.g. adds or drops) which is annoying. So for example, if I have someone on the DL and they get activated that day, I can't insert them into my lineup until the following day because when dropping a player, the transactions takes effect the next day.

It's an honour to win the DDL Championship finally after all these years! Happy to cross this one off the list. Wasn't an easy path. One of my favourite leagues and I'm happy to have my name up with all the greats!

My bats came up huge today and saved my ass. Was losing 8-5 to start the day and needed to flip some offensive categories to have a chance. Picking up Jorge Lopez was a huge mistake today and could have lost it for me. If TCA got an extra save and flipped OBPA which was still possible with him having Plutko starting, he would have won. I was keeping an eye on the Rockies/Dodgers game since it was close and he had Diaz.
