  1. I know an ex-MLB player who said there were some players who actually never got it, though have the papers. In the US and other countries, certain states don't use or require anything to be uploaded to apps like here in Canada. So it's a lot easier down south and in other countries than Canada. As well, I know someone in media who told me some Blue Jays players were hesitant and didn't want to get it though they eventually got their shots before the season started. As for other sports, there were news stories about some NFL players who got caught using fake cards at the beginning so they wouldn't forfeit salaries, go for extra testing etc. I'm sure there were athletes from other sports as well. Not saying every athlete did, though I'm sure there are several athletes across many different professional sports who never actually got the shots. Athletes have the money as well to access that type of service.
  2. A several number of athletes did, from what I've heard haha.
  3. Edwin was as well.
  4. Can I trade my team for his?
  5. The guy really needs to cool it and keep personal views to himself. I can't believe he was still obsessed with all the vaccine stuff.
  6. Drury always had breakout potential IMO. He showed some glimpses with the D'backs in 2016 and 2017. He sucked with the Yankees in 2018 and then was traded to the Blue Jays. Never got settled here in Toronto. A lot of guys don't put it all together until 29 or 30. Look at guys like Bautista, Nelson Cruz, etc. Not comparing Drury to any of those guys, but he can be a guy who hits 25-30 HR's every season. He definitely will get a nice payday in the offseason.
  7. It's just a joke geez. Lighten up Jim.
  8. https://www.islandernews.com/lifestyle/homes/almost-330-000-people-have-moved-to-florida-during-the-past-year-migration-is-expected/article_78860b40-aa7d-11eb-957d-1f0232e9d6d0.html https://www.narcity.com/so-many-people-moved-to-florida-from-these-two-popular-us-states-heres-why Amazing weather pretty much year round (May-September it's a scorcher though), very cool and vibrant cities, towns and places, beautiful coastlines, Spring Training, no state income tax, lower cost of living in comparison to other states. What's not to love? Just need to bulldoze the Trop and build a new beautiful ballpark haha.
  9. Traffic is a "goddamn nightmare" in Toronto and every heavily populated area pretty much haha. The 401 is actually ranked as one of the worst highways in terms of congestion in North America. That bottleneck from 427 to the 400 is the worst supposedly.
  10. That was good haha! We need laughter sometimes!
  11. Mariners up 6-0 on Cole and the Yankees. Wow!
  12. OneDrive > Tim and Friends
  13. Cool interview. Even Josh Towers knows the Rockies organization sucks haha.
  14. Yup. I'm not losing sleep over his long term potential because he was traded, though he was a nice arm to have around for depth. Wish they could have traded another arm who wasn't at the MLB level, but oh well.
  15. Yeah fingers crossed. Just need to get to the Postseason right now and the top of this rotation is good enough in a short series. If Kikuchi implodes or the Jays lose one of Gausman, Manoah or Berrios for an extended period, things could definitely spiral out of control quickly.
  16. Wishing you all the best. You're going from the best state and place on Earth to one of the worst now haha.
  17. Lets bring back Kyle Drabek as well while we're at it!
  18. Jharel Cotton was a recent DFA.
  19. Great! So just keep your opinions to yourself on the whole COVID and vaccine issue. Still can't believe this is still a major issue. Move on!
  20. Are you serious with this post? Buddy just keep it to baseball.
  21. He will jump into the rotation. Who else do the Blue Jays have lmao? This is why Mitch White was brought in.
  22. This is why it was important acquiring another SP at the deadline. Mitch White will fill in nicely for Stripling, but now have to hope Kikuchi doesn't implode and the Jays big three of Gausman, Manoah and Berrios stay healthy or else things could get ugly. Lack of depth in the rotation is worrisome.
  23. Yeah I was thinking the same. I don't think he was in attendance during the festivities. I suspect he had been sick for a while and wanted to keep everything quiet.
  24. If Whitt Merrifield hits a walk-off HR in the World Series or steals home, I'm sure he'll easily forget about it haha.
