  1. Unwatchable. Watching that, it's hard to believe the Raptors are in the NBA, let alone won 2 games against Cleveland.
  2. Trading my 3rd round pick to BTS for Niese and his 5th round pick.
  3. Would you feel better if he had gotten blown out?
  4. Please refer to the post above your post.
  5. Kind of excited to see Max Pentecost looking so good, after he was forced upon me in a trade.
  6. Really? That was the best you could do with that? Seems kind of obvious. You're better than that.
  7. Woah, woah, woah. What is this? Without categories, I have no possible way of determining whether my team is 'super amazing' or 'SUUUUUXXXX'.
  8. ConnorP's win is not a reflection of the BBDL. Anyone can win a dynasty, by loading up on older players and abandoning the farm. Dynasty is about building a sustainable model, where your team makes the playoffs every year.
  9. If by 'good' you mean full of suckers and rubes, and easy to coast to 1st place, then no, it's not a good league.
  10. That's like relegating a AAA player to the MLB (not Atlanta).
  11. No, HBP happens. If somebody tries a takeout slide on one of our guys, with a high probability of injury, I'd have no problem with someone punching him in the face, and neither would any of our players. I guarantee you that Texas fans love the fact that Odor punched Jose in the face. Hope more guys start doing this kind of thing. Absolutely no reason to do it, especially when all that slide does is guarantee an automatic double play.
  12. OK, Odor is a piece of s*** too. Protip: It has more credibility if somebody else writes 'rekt' instead of the author. Same rule applies to the now archaic 'pwned'
  13. Slide was dirty and could have seriously injured Odor. Glad Odor cracked Jose in the jaw. Wish more players would reciprocate after dirty slides like that. I know the homers won't agree, but when Devon Travis breaks his leg, after a slide like that, you'll all change your tunes.
  14. Sometimes the NBA writers get lazy and just recycle a script from the previous round.
  15. Preparing Mitch Moreland offer ASAP.
  16. Apparently losing $7 million is getting off easy.
  17. Finally. Someone talking sense. I really don't see the love for Giolito. Stats are terrible, and it's not like he's way underage. Meanwhile Urias is 19, and not just in AAA, but in the PCL - the league where Arencibia and Thames have a 1.000 OPS and he's kicking ass.
  18. Not sure why everyone keeps s***ing on Moreland. According to Yahoo, he was the 17th best 1st baseman last year. And considering that a lot of 1B's get used for Util, that's well above waiver-wire fodder. And I guess I figured that with the velocity drop, combined with the terrible results, Cody Allen's value had dropped. So, I don't think it was some egregious offer.
  19. Yeah. missed the boat on that one. I took a look, and his ratios weren't great, and I didn't think he'd end up with the closer job. Thought Neris would take it.
  20. Nah, I'm still happy with the trade, although AJ Reed isn't exactly tearing it up this year. Got four good farm pieces out of it. Just having trouble finding a closer, and tired of losing saves every week. It's like when I have a closer for trade, nobody needs one, but when I need one, nobody will give one up, even guys sitting on three closers.
  21. No worries. Sorry for trying to trick you with an offer for the second coming of Mariano Rivera for my waiver wire trash.
  22. Fail. Bases loaded is not a great time to bunt. Also, runners on third, or (second and third) is not a great time to bunt. Then of course you have the suicide squeeze to consider. And then there's other factors: How good of a hitter is the pitcher? How good of a bunter? How late in the game is it? Should you put in a pinch hitter or leave him in? Should he fake a bunt to draw the infield in? How fast is the runner at 1st base? Should he try to get to 1st, or just maximize the chance of advancing the runner?
  23. Oh well then, let's stop letting shortstops and catchers hit too. We'll make it like football and just have an offensive team and a defensive team. Who needs to see Andrelton Simmons hit?
