  1. Trading #1 Waiver Wire priority for draft pick. Too much pressure for me. Lot of good young players coming up and likely to be a lot of surprises this year, given our lack of data. Looking for draft pick in return. Will take highest draft pick in return by EOD tomorrow (Sunday).
  2. I just came here to bitch about Montoya making Jansen bunt with two strikes, but looks like we got that covered.
  3. Brewers bullpen is gonna be sick this year. They brought in the big three tonight. Hader strikes out the side. (3 batters) Williams strikes out the side. (3 batters). Feyereisen strikes out the side. (3 batters).
  4. DEBUT WAIVERS - if a player with no MLB games played plays in their first MLB game, including the postseason, any owner can request publicly that a commissioner place them on Debut Waivers, and any commissioner who sees a public request is obliged to do so. If a debuting player is not placed on Debut Waivers they can be added at 8 PM Eastern Time two days after their first MLB game. If a commissioner places a player on Debut Waivers they must post so in the message board thread or send an email to the league. In this particular case, I'll be requesting he is put on waivers.
  5. Pretty amazing that the Jays are ranked third considering all the talent the Jays have recently pulled out of the minors: Guerrero, Bichette, Biggio etc.
  6. I'm actively trying to find something to bitch about here, but I'm drawing a blank.
  7. How is Kumar Rocker part of that trade? What am I missing?
  8. Logan Webb struck out the first four batters he faced in the first inning. You don't see that everyday.
  9. I need to clear some space to pick up some awesome waiver wire guys. So, players available cheap: 1st round (will give a 2nd back) Garrett Mitchell 2nd round Jordan Westburg Craig Kimbrel 3rd round Jonathan Schoop Yiddi Cappe Armando Cruz Erick Pena Brandon Marsh Chris Archer 4th round Nate Lowe Mason Denaburg 5th round Brett Baty Will probably keep these deals going till I empty up 4 spots
  10. Good way to kill an hour. Two downsides: 1) Sometimes there's just no trade to be found, so you just throw a junk offer out, so that you can complete the cycle. 2) Some owners never respond, and you know it, so it's kind of a wasted effort.
  11. Have some extra time tonight. Think I'll blast out another round of trade offers to everyone in DDL, since they were the most responsive. Last round was a huge success with 9 trades. Check FanTrax in about an hour.
  12. It's a good think you told us that's the post. Otherwise I would have been scrolling up and down, and zooming in and out, and refreshing, expecting to see something else. Would have wasted hours, probably.
  13. Imagine being the Tigers management and planning to start the season with Fulmer in the rotation, and leaving out Skubal, Manning and Mize.
  14. Skubal is going to put an end to the HR derby.
  15. We need an immediate vote. It's important that we reach a consensus on whose idea this was.
  16. I'm fine either way, but what are the advantages of using the draft room versus just doing it manually, like we used to. I had thought maybe it would be less work for the commissioners, but it doesn't seem to be.
  17. I remember when I was a sub, and there was always one annoying nerd who sat front-row center, who would make these kind of comments whenever there was a spelling mistake. Everyone loved that kid.
  18. Brett Anderson, Kevin Paldo and Freddy Galvis available for picks.
  19. Hey Mods, Is it possible for you to drop the following guys for me: Austin Hays Nick Senzel Victor Reyes Sergio Romo JA Happ Thanks.
  20. I need to clear some space: Feel free to pick up the following pitchers on the cheap. Will dump onto waiver wire by end of day, if no offers: Chris Archer JA Happ Anthony Kay Edit: Actually, will drop at the end of the draft, as I can't drop until then.
  21. Abom, Please get back to me on my multiple trade offers. It's been like four days. Have other trades in the works, but really waiting on this one, before I make any moves. In case you missed my e-mail: So, here's the guys I like: Keston Hiura Brandon Lowe Whit Merrifield Jeff Mcneil And here's the assets I can trade pretty easily: Anthony Santander Kole Calhoun Trevor Bauer Corey Kluber Eduardo Rodriguez Chris Archer Craig Kimbrel Stephen Strasburg Ryan Pressly And I could trade these guys, but it's harder: Dustin May Adrian Morejon Jesse Winker And here are the offers I've made: S Strasburg for W Merrifield A Morejon for J Mcneil T Bauer for K Hiura C Kluber and J Winker for B Lowe Send me a counter at least.
  22. It's a lot to keep track of. Have you considered asking someone knowledgeable to help you make your picks?
  23. In fairness though, DDL has been kicking ass. We're almost up to round 6 already.
