  1. Does this make the first rays move (Apart from delmon) that BTS doesn't like?
  2. Love Ventura... my DDL team doesn't want him in the RC, but I do!
  3. I clearly remember my jaw physically dropping when the 'second prospect' in the deal turned into syndergaard. It made my stomach sank. He was always my favourite of lansing 3. He was the mid-point between Nicolino and Sanchez... A combo of stuff and control.
  4. Without giving it too much thought, I'd keep Longo
  5. If you think Infante is a 2-1.5 WAR player going forward than it shouldn't be hard to justify a bit more than 8M a year for him. I could see the term worrying people.
  6. If the Yankees did indeed offer 24/3, I'd probably be comfortable upping the offer. Something like 26-30/3 to get him closer to the AAV he wants or 32/4 if the 4th year is more important to him.
  7. I've wondered that myself. It would be interesting for sure. Could make a pitchers fastball more effective with a 'self knuckleball effect'. Interesting idea, but I don't think we see it any time soon.
  8. I still like Skaggs. Has everyone given up on him?
  9. love me some Rutledge. Play him at 2B and spell Reyes at SS. You have a built-in option when Reyes can't go at SS anymore.
  10. trade the farm for Lee AND Hamels! Just go balls deep!
  11. When did we all love mills?
  12. Would make our farm look a lot better. I'm pumped with the love that Tirado is getting. A 5-some of potentially good arms when you include Sanchez and Stroman
  13. Did you predict the type of declines in 1-2 years that they saw? I sure didn't. I knew they were going to be SHITE by the time the deals expired, but not in the first 1-4 years.
  14. I've got a migrating favorite team, I usually casually root for an NL team that I like. Used to be the Dodgers, but I'm not a fan anymore. Probably the Mets now... love that young pitching that will be coming up.
  15. http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2013/12/mariners-other-teams-could-bid-for-david-price.html oh god no. Please Jack Z, don't trade Walker to the god damn Rays. This is too predictable not to happen
  16. Its an interesting approach. The posting cap means that lower income teams won't be 'priced out' of bidding for high profile players. I wonder if record will play into it at all.
  17. Its not like he's editing the guys forum posts. This is an article on their blog, which is garnishing come nice national attention. I would think they appreciate the free editing.
  18. lol... actually 'esque' is a french type joke (and not even a joke at that )
  19. I'd be on that in a second. I'd take Ackely as well.
  20. misappropriated credit... for shame
  21. Was this discussed earlier (don't feel like going back) http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2013/12/yankees-will-not-offer-over-200mm-to-cano.html How much of that is posturing? I'd be tempted at that valuation. That puts him at 37 at the end of the deal. What is JFaS's method, 5% increase in cost per win by year, .5 drop in WAR by year? (can't remember). A 160 /7 year deal is 22.86MM yearly makes him 'worth it' almost every year of that deal.
  22. +1. That's the only way I'm interested in Anderson... probably would have just signed Kazmir tho.
  23. I thought that would make you happy
