The aging curve for hockey actually peaks at 23 and 24. Slow drop off from there to about 30 and then a steep decline after that.

As someone watching on TV I don't really care, I would be annoyed if I paid to go to a spring training game and they played 5 to 7 innings instead of 9. -
Not trying to harp on the admins here as I realize this is an annoying job, but can someone skip Dingers windows? We are an hour into his window and he asked to skip all of his picks.

After reading the BBDL thread, I no longer think we are doing worse than the BBDL. Carry on.

Agreed on Tellez. His new short and quick approach will do wonders. His HR total will be most likely be in the single digits, but his new approach will no doubt increase his numbers everywhere else. He sure looks a lot more comfortable at the plate in the few AB's he's had so far and it appears Jacoby may have found what he needed. He's hit well at every level of pro ball except at the MLB level. He has a natural born ability in getting the barrel to the ball but big league stuff (especially secondaries) are recognized too late. His new shorter approach will allow him to let the ball travel a bit longer before committing. Just the way he's taking pitches now would indicate he's seeing the ball a lot better. The talent is there, but his approach needed something to adjust to the superior MLB pitching. He seems like he may have found something, so look for his offensive numbers to be much better. .285 / .330 / .440

Probably because he's not very good and most major league bullpens are stacked to the brim with K/BB monkeys these days No real reason to give a guy like him a major league deal. I am sure he got a lucrative contract by minor league contract standards
