  1. Jim Bowden⚾️🏈 on Twitter: "Nick Krall #Reds GM told us their plan is for Joey Votto to finish his career as a Red. However, if the Reds are out of it at the trade deadline and Votto came to them and asked if they would trade him home to Toronto #BlueJays..he said he would consider under those circumstances" / Twitter Sounds like Votto could end up a Jay in August
  2. Why did they bring in bracho? Lol dumn
  3. Carlos Hernandez warming up, Lol
  4. Well, pay attention.
  5. https://www.bluejaysmessageboard.com/threads/9726-Trevor-Bauer-discussion-thread?p=1568199#post1568199 Can someone open this thread? I need to quote all the people who clowned on me for saying Bauer would never throw an MLB pitch again. He is done in MLB.
  6. The above tweet says "NO MRI PLANNED" but then today they said he underwent an MRI on his knee last night. Which one is it??? This team never tells us the truth
  7. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. underwent an MRI on his knee last night that revealed some minor inflammation, but no structural damage. The #BlueJays will see how he feels tomorrow and go from there. More discomfort than a “pain” issue. He was scheduled to leave for the WBC tomorrow. Oh no

  9. The pace of play changes are the best thing to happen to baseball in years. Maybe ever!
  10. The game is not meaningless. Players are fighting for roster spots. Opportunities are limited.
  11. So, the Rockies are going to rest their best players at home early in the season so they can save them for.. *checks notes*.. .when they have a sub .400 record in September. Genius.
  12. The Mariners Padres game last 2 hrs 29 minutes today. Seems like the pitch clock worked.
  13. How is this real?
  14. He had a 99 wRC+ in High A in the last half of 2021. Let's not pretend he had nothing left to prove at that level.
  15. He has to be one of the higher variance prospects in the minors right now. Outcomes could range from AAAA hitter to MLB's home run leader. As you said, there was no one his age struggling in AA who came close to having his ISO in recent years. A unicorn. Will be interesting to see what happens!
  16. Will this skillset translate to the MLB? If he can't stop chasing against AA pitchers, he's going to have a hard time hitting against MLB staffs and generic bullpen monkeys throwing 100 with a sweeping slider. He's could very well suck terribly for at least a year or two when he comes up. That would be fine on a team like the Reds but for a team that's trying to win that's going to be tough to work into the lineup. Very open to being wrong about this
  17. They are humans and aren't baseball lab rats despite playing upwards of 200 games a year have families and other lives to live!
  18. Looks sober to me. Just mopey. Kind of like Bellinger. Now this picture of the Indiana Pacers from November... All high as a kite.
