I know we're talking about the hitting coach. My point is if Gibbons wants someone that he's more "familiar" with then I'm afraid it's someone like him. Gibbons 2.0 reminds me of Buck Martinez' term as manager. I don't know if it's what he wants or AA pushed for but it seems to involve little development, and very little practice. I think a manager's role (along with his coaches) is quite important. I have little faith in the team as long as he's in charge.
Name-calling someone because they disagree with your opinion is beneath you. In my opinion the manager should be about the 6-10th most important person in uniform.
