    You can't get stuck on any one player. It all comes down to the trade. Think about it this way: would you trade any one of those guys for Trout? Yep and happy to do it.

    This could help land a free agent starter. Price and Garza would be good additions. Melky could DH and Gose, Sierra or Pillar in left. Defense in the outfield improves. Or Youk as an addition.

    A Gose for Ackley would make some sense for both sides.

    I remember him a little from some spring games. I think he was invited a couple of times. Solid build, good defense.

    I guess it's time to clean the 40 man roster. Too many players out of options.

    We'd probably get two Deck Mcgwires and a Brett Lawrie in return. And two of them would need surgery.

    I love this attack on Arod as well. I'm pretty sure the Yankees are involved as a way of getting salary relief.

    Take a look at his stats and list one full or part time DH with that type of production. When you find one let us know.

    That's how we grew into world series contenders. We went from perennial 77 game winners to 82 or so to 89 and then boom. We tried to go from 74 to 90 plus. That's a big jump. A good manager would manage expectation better.
