    If we have to blow it up, the key would be getting rid of Reyes and Beuhlre's contracts without having to pay any $$$. If we trade Bautista or Encarnacion-top prospects. Dickey and Happ just for salary relief. Lind get back an ok prospect, not pay any $$$ Janssen get back good prospect Melky and Rasmus- get anything we can. but again my main goal would be dumping Reyes and Beuhrle's contracts.

    It feels this way doesn't it. What a joke this team is not looking for a window. I don't even blame AA then. I mean come on, a really good shot at the playoffs and they wont take on any $$$? Well good bye playoffs. I have loved the JAYS since 1985, think I'm almost done though.

    Soriano would be a nice addition, hope he decides to sign. I do have a feeling that these moves of Mills and Sanchez have meaning. Wondering if someone has been inquiring about our RP's and were preparing to replace them???

    MAybe they see him as closer material to replace Janssen next year? Be like Rosenthal in St.Louis.

    If the front office doesn't do something between now and the trade deadline to help the team and then then JAYS subsequently fail to make the playoffs, I'm willing to bet Jose Bautista asks for a trade.

    Ya that's totally ridiculous. No chance. Stroman is a top 3 guy in our rotation right now. If that's the price never mind. Not only would it not help us win this year that much it destroys the future. I'm ok with trading prospects but not a guy who is already proving himself in the Majors.

    Soriano release by Yankees. Jays should sign him, it's better than nothing and/or Brett Wallace.

    I wonder if the Rays would do Price and Zobrist for Sanchez, Norris, Pompey, Jimenez, and we'll throw in Happ and Goins for good measure.

    Exactly, this is the "window" that management said they were looking for, if not now when. If they don't do something to make a run this year I will have lost all faith in this organization.

    Hopefully we'll make a move or (or two) soon. It's necessary plus it might be the jump start some players need. Lets them know management thinks they can win this year.

    It's been quiet on the trade front, too quiet. Something is about to go down.

    If we give up Sanchez, Norris ect, for Price and Zobrist we probably get 2 first round prospect picks when they both leave as FA's after 2015, start the rebuild then.

    Management said if there was a window to compete they'd do what they needed. This is a pretty big f***ing window if you ask me. I want to win now, not the promise of 5 years from now.
