  1. You're telling me colored players are more talented than whites?
  2. wat
  3. It'll certainly help give the Jays some exposure in Japan though. But I doubt he'd settle with the Jays.
  4. bitch plssss The HOF isn't a good guy award.
  5. Here's all of Donaldson's 2014 homer videos for you to fap on: http://www.hittrackeronline.com/detail.php?id=2014_2441&type=hitter I still can't believe he's on our team. We traded for him right? Or am I still dreaming
  6. I hope the deal falls apart just so that it makes the whole situation awkward for everyone.
  7. lol I dunno why but I always felt that everyone here was like 18-30. Typically you associate online interaction with the younger crowd. What blows my mind is that I can't imagine how I would have approached baseball before the internet age. No twitter, no sports centre, no rumor mill. Everything would be on the TV and the paper. Imagine how boring off seasons were...
  8. Souza is not an AAAA player, but I think the Nats still won this trade.
  9. Miley possible traded because he didn't like being on a gluten-free diet http://www.azcentral.com/story/sports/mlb/diamondbacks/2014/12/17/indications-arizona-diamondbacks-unhappy-wade-miley-preparation/20509839/
  10. rated top 100 a few times. Showed good pop and BB/K
  11. whatever happened to that guy
  12. Protypical A's player back in his prime. Reminds me of Jack Cust-lite
  13. I was gonna call BS on McCarthy > Fister but...I didn't know he was relatively bad last year. What happened?! He was a 3-4 war player with Detroit..
  14. Anderson is only 26?! o_o Maybe he'll end up being a durable player and can get one more big contract (assuming he puts up a good year I doubt he'll get more than 3 years)
  15. After the Morales acquisition, this signing is not out of the question for Moore.
  16. So many names for him. I'm calling him Tortilla.
  17. He lives there in the off season so I guess the Jays would have had to overpay a bit to get him.
  18. Not as clear cut. As far as we know, the Jays offered that amount a long time back, way before we got Saunders. That offer could have been on the time right up until the moment we traded for him. And at that time, at least when Cruz was signed, we read that Melky wanted 4-5 years. So it's entirely possible that the Jays offered 3/39, with internal discussions willing to go higher, but they did not want to wait for Melky. And when he demands 4-5 years, I don't fault AA one bit for shutting down the negotiations since it was hampering his other deals. He pulled the trigger and got the cheaper and better player in Saunders, and Melky was left to focus on a smaller pool of suitors.
  19. don't forget he's somewhat different pitcher. More fastball usage and a higher tick on the fastball.
  20. Good - as long as he didn't sign with the Orioles.
  21. http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y267/gandalfyoda/boxy-1.jpg
  22. It's kind of hard to ask a player to move a position. Yeah I know, it's the right thing to do. But players have ego's, and they will not like it.
  23. Mike Rizzo very friendly with Boras
  24. Gives us insight into the clubhouse http://www.thestar.com/sports/baseball/2014/12/12/blue_jays_werent_tightknit_group_manager_john_gibbons_says_dimanno.html
