    Yes, it will. I think his replacement could be LaCava. The guy is good enough to be a GM (he could have won the Orioles job if only Angelos accepted that he clean the house).

    Would you guys do Hoffman, Pentecost and Nay for Hamels? That seems like a package Amaro would ask for, probably plus another top player, like Travis. I personally wouldn't. I'm very, very high on Hoffman.

    Hmm. I might be interested, have to bug my Dad and see if he's up to it (we bought a 20-game flex pack for last season's fiasco and I didn't go to a single game) But put me on low priority if anyone else wants it.

    It's been awhile since I bought a flex pack so bear with me. If you buy a 20 ticket pack, does that have to be 20 individual games with 1 ticket on each gameday used, or can it be 10 games, with 2 tickets used on each day?

    Beltran got a 3 year 45m contract at the age of 36, even though his numbers were still pretty good. Bautista will be a FA at 35 while Edwin will be at 33. Bautista can get at least a 4 year deal as long as he doesn't regress a ton. Edwin can still get one big last pay day.

    1.) If Reyes/Shields s*** the bed, no one will want them and/or we'd have to eat a ton of salary 2.) If Reyes/Shields actually perform as expected, our team performance would regress if we traded them away unless AA gets lucky in trades.

    hypothetical if AA does trade Hoffman for Duquette. Does that pretty much wipe all the good that AA has done in this offseason? Does it erase the goodwill he did in acquiring Martin/Saunders/Donaldson? It would for me.
