His numbers are deceiving right now. Don't look at the overall totals.

Yes he sucked in the 2nd half, but it was because of a hip injury that he had surgery on this off season:

What you're looking at is a guy who pretty much hits like our three-headed monster. If he's healthy, he can hit 40 bombs with a .250/.350/+.550 line. He has two more years of control.
Of course, the drawback is that he's 31.
Defensively he doesn't have any value, but he can be the lefty in the middle of our line-up.
