    Except he's going to earn $2.5m if he makes the roster at any point. Why would you pay $2.5m for a player that is worse than replacement, when a replacement player can cost only the MLB minimum?

    Barton was a prototypical A's player from a few years ago..lots of walks, lots of K's, average/good defense. Nothing spectacular.

    fyi the actual color is blue/black - the maker said so. They do not distribute this dress in white/gold.

    Well this is odd. I looked at the picture this morning and I said" Obviously white and gold" Then I check the image at work and I see blue and black.. I guess it really depends on the setting you are in, the lighting and how your brain compensates.
