  1. He still might, but it's frustrating as hell watching a guy with the talent to be a 180 wRC+ hitter languish with a paltry 132.
  2. Half a billion dollar talent with a 10 cent head.
  3. It's only a matter of time before Skynet activates.
  4. As someone who is in school for becoming a Dietitian, I can say confidently that nearly any type of calorie restriction eating pattern, when accompanied by resistance training, will result in weight/fat loss and at least muscle maintenance and not muscle loss (assuming no genetic or broken metabolic factors, and it's done correctly) I'm actually in the middle of a module on sports dietetics this very minute while the game is on lol
  5. Clement is in "foul off everything in the general vicinity of the plate" mode
  6. Nothing wrong with low carb for weight loss, it's actually protein and muscle sparing if done correctly.
  7. I truly dont understand how the Jays never fare well against soft tossers. Sit soft, adjust to the fastball. He's just lobbing up curve ball after curve ball and theyre way our front everytime.
  8. Double plays or double penetration... either way you are correct sir as long as it's not happening to you
  9. Bassitt actually drives me crazy winding the pitch clock down to near 0 every friggin time lol
  10. Come on Bassitt, settle down. Need you to not f'n suck tonight
  11. Who doesnt love a good 3-way?
  12. I just hope he looks healthier than the last few starts. He was clearly labouring through something
  13. Love that Barger is spitting on those curve balls. They aren't even bad pitches. Missed his cookies though, damn
  14. So, his 10 foot ground balls will be 11 feet now?
  15. Agreed, I don't think he's truly in play, but the GM will do his due diligence and probably get a list of teams he would maybe approve a trade to.
  16. Shelby Miller to the IL with a forearm strain. Cant come back until July 21 at the earliest. Hurts his trade chances for sure
  17. Guy they picked up from Miami who was DFA. They stuck him in Buffalo till a few days ago. He might get the 3 inning save here lol
  18. Berrios might go 8 himself. At that point it might be so out of reach a position player finishes up
  19. I'm mentally preparing myself for the team to lay an egg after that brilliant homestand. I hope to be pleasantly surprised. The Sox are playing their first game home after flying back from a road trip so there could be a bit of letdown on their side too.
  20. Youd think, but Texas isn't a penny pinching team. They don't HAVE to move him, they just could if they wanted to. Plus, given the lack of high end arms on the market this year, they'd have tons of competition lining up. I suppose his no-trade clause could be a bit of a roadblock, but typically it's not
