  1. Napoleon wasn't even short. He was actually average height for his time period.
  2. Go's...... f*** sakes
  3. Word is it's not serious.
  4. Found this wandering around twitter today, pretty good read on a former international prospect signing by the Jays that youve never heard of, that began a new way of how I termational free agents got paid. Really enjoyed it http://toronto.locals.baseballprospectus.com/2017/12/22/josephang-bernhardt-the-prospect-who-changed-international-free-agency/
  5. Hope your holiday is wondrous, special and safe. See you all in 2018
  6. When I saw him pitch for Vancouver he was downright fat. Looked like a bowling ball with limbs. Today's look is like night and day
  7. I don't see what you're looking at, bit if a loose fitting shirt maybe but he doesn't seem chunky at all
  8. Alford left today's Mexican League game with an ankle injury Hope it's not serious
  9. Might need to send him off soon though, arbitration deals for good closers can get expensive in a hurry. Why waste money on a closer now when their real window isn't gonna start until after his arm years are over and he's a free agent?
  10. I wish that Demar showed up more often. Not that he needs to score 45 points a night, but if he could actually be a consistent 3 point threat it would do wonders for his game. Hell.... 35% would be fine, he doesn't need to be a 40-45% sharpshooter
  11. If winning 45 games is your goal, that's a good way to start
  12. Obvious man pretending to be woman troll is obvious.
  13. Stroman is not a 30 million per year pitcher by a long stretch so it's not really worth worrying about
  14. Don't forget the best part, you can switch back and forth from identifying as a female or male, depending on how you feel that day.
  15. Seems like a win/win for both teams. Resets the luxury tax for LA ... gives Atlanta 1 year of possibly unshitty pitching and a backup SS, and they go off the books for 2019.
  16. Can't be world beaters every night. They've been in a rough stretch lately though
  17. Living in Baltimore probably pushed them 90% of the way to despair to begin with.
  18. If he hits 50 hrs for 3 or 4 years straight, he'll opt out faster than you can blink. If his seasons are mere really good, then yeah he stays in.
  19. You're forgetting the high liklihoodood of a Stanton opt out. If he has a great few seasons, its a no brainer to opt out and test free agency again. Yankees may not even have to deal with any art of his decline phase
  20. All defense guys have been underpaid for years if you look at salary vs WAR, largely because arbitration awards do not factor in defense at all when determining what number is chosen so there's never a precedent for these guys to get what they're actually worth.
  21. I highly doubt that was Duquette's call. That kind of philosophy has Angelos written all over it.
  22. I'll let my list ride.
  23. Vlad Bo Alford Pearson Warmoth Zeuch Borucki Jansen Gurriel Pannone
  24. Arguably the best 2nd unit in the NBA?
