  1. Sorry for missing folks, I had pet issues today and spent all day at the vet
  2. The reanimated corpse of Helen Keller would be better than Tabler
  3. Just turn that up real loud in the office tomorrowl
  4. Can't tell. Which one is Vlad Jr? You guys are like twins.
  5. That's 2 former Lethbridge area guys on the Jays system now with Case and Shane Dawson.
  6. Wow, I didn't realize he was the Andrew Case that pitched here in Lethbridge. Nice
  7. Really would love to see Morales do that enough they stop shifting him.
  8. You can always check each of the minor league club's websites through milb.com Buffalo http://m.milb.com/t422/ New Hampshire http://m.milb.com/t463/ Dunedin http://m.milb.com/t424/ Lansing http://m.milb.com/t499/
  9. Him TOO? Ah the good old days. Then I got married and had to choose between that, and regular sex.
  10. Is it bad that I'd score that a single and a 2 base Error?
  11. I would agree, except dabbing is for 4 year olds...
  12. Raw counting/rate stats don't tell the whole story. He still walked, still didn't strike out, and as Boxcar mentioned, his babip took a nosedive which may just be SSS noise. His power output dipped, but I don't think Smoak is in danger of putting up a .140 ISO for any meaningful length if time. If I recall correctly he missed some games towards the end of August with a leg injury, and probably played through it the rest of the year which could be partially to blame.
  13. With 3 more club option years for good measure. Could be signed through 2026 if all options are picked up. Option years are 13, 14 and 15 million.
  14. Biagini, Rowley, Borucki. ... but I think you're looking at a more veteran type of arm. Yeahnit probably wouldn't hurt to have a guy like Garza around to try and help the young guys. Hard to see him signing a pure minor league deal though.
  15. So only real changes from the likely opening day lineup are the bottom 3... Martin, Diaz and Pillar.
  16. Also true.
  17. Yeah, I get the whole best hitter should hit the most theory. It's very logical in its conception. I'm just not sure how much extra value would result from your best hitter hitting more often with nobody on base, or potentially getting walked and not even getting a chance to affect anything
  18. I'm not sure the NL doing that would be as benefical as it would be in the AL due to the P spot coming up right before the leadoff spot and that P spot kills many innings and could allow them to pitch around Harper in the important situations. With 1 out, you pitch to the P spot get to 2 outs and walk Harper. With 0 out, you pitch to the P spot, get the out, and walk Harper to set up DP. With 2 out, you just get the P spot out and Harper starts the next inning with nobody on base. I guess that assumes it's the P hitting, which in late game scenarios it would likely be a pinch hitter instead. ...
