  1. I guess this confirms you don't have a clue how sending players to the minors works. Did you want an explanation or can you Google it on your own? Not being snarky I'm legit curious
  2. He's saying the jays of 2018 are better than the Jays of 2017
  3. As a fantasy owner of Freeman, Albies and Harper.... me likey So far, 4 for 5 with a walk, 2 HR, 5 runs a nd 6 RBI
  4. Yup, all 5 or 6 innings he might play this year will be solid defensively, no question
  5. Wow 5 Ks for Stanton. Welcome to NY bruh
  6. Probably not even half an inch apart, yet 1 is a strike 1 is a ball. And holy f*** Garcia just killed that basball
  7. Booooooom! Didn't miss that one. Cycle in the inning!
  8. No kidding, especially in a day where players are trying to hit more fly balls. It's mind blowing
  9. Donaldson wants that second pitch back.
  10. Yeah that was a bit aggressive, but when you can get the 2 hard parts of the cycle out of the way by the 4th inning ... Im not gonna hack on him for it
  11. He's still not a negative baserunner though. I guess that happens when you haven't reached base yet. Crafty Morales.
  12. Grichuk totally manufactured that run by hitting it into his glove and letting him f*** up.
  13. So far I've seen games at Wrigley, Fenway, AT&T, Rogers Center and the horrid dump the White Sox call a stadium. At&T was the best by far. Wrigley and Fenway had a cool history factor but really the views and sightlines are pretty bad/garbage at Fenway unless you're right behind home plate or in the front few rows down the lines. The seats are horribly uncomfortable and really the whole place needs to be imploded. Wrigley was far better in that regard despite the obvious age. RC was okay, nothing special but not horrid, I was there when the dome was closed unfortunately so I didn't get the open air experience which I suspect is better.
  14. If King isnt going to do it this year, I will do it again
  15. There has to be a villain to make sports more engaging for some people. Whether they only do it for Harper or will pick any of the opposing teams stars will be semi-interesting to see. As for Harper, the way he encourages showing emotion on the field rather than being stuffy and passionless it what gets to anyone over 50, which is still (unfortunately)a huge portion of MLBs fanbase. Median age of MLB fan in 2015 was 53 according to ESPN. IN contrast, the NBAs median age was 37
  16. Well you know what they say, speed doesn't slump
  17. They're on the major league DL
  18. Buffalo roster announced: https://www.milb.com/bisons/news/bisons-set-initial-opening-day-roster/c-270485862
  19. I think it depends on which hand the break. If its on the same hand that holds the knob of the bat then yeah it could be a lingering thing since the hamate hook rests on the bat knob for every swing they take.
  20. I think it will be feast or famine for the majority of the season. Yes, the lineup has some real thump in the middle, but it's also got its fair share of swing and miss. I think we'll see alot of wins with 6+ runs scored, and just as many losses with 1 or 2 at best, but overall they will score a decent pile of runs.
  21. Not gonna lie, Lawrie was an easy player to hate from a personal standpoint. When you think you're the second coming of Brooks Robinson, but are far from it, and act like an 18 year old frat boy... it's gonna rub people the wrong way.
