There's plenty of depth without Tulo, Travis or Solarte though. Logjam and depth are not the same thing
  2. John_Havok
The 750 K buyout on Solarte seems like a no-brainer at this point and Travis seems like a non-tender candidate. Disagree on Grichuk and Pillar. Both will be starting OF next year barring trades

This is all true, but what do you do with Gurriel in the meantime? Or Travis? Gurriel has shown enough that he should also be a starting IF, so with him, Travis, Tulo and Diaz....2 of whom are made of glass, do you cut bait with Travis altogether and have Gurriel play 2nd with Urena and Diaz both rostered as insurance for Tulo's inevitable injury? And what of Drury? There's a clusterf*** in the Jays MIF right now, and the Tulo/Travis injury parade makes it worse.

Dayton Moore is still a GM in the league

Don't need to take that shot in TO though, but yeah somewhere would for league min if that's what the O's did.

It puts the lotion in the basket.....

Kloffenstein has surfaced! They've got him starting 2 games so far, both just 1 inning each. 4K, 2B and 1 hit allowed in his 2 appearances, 2 IP

https://www.minorleagueball.com/2018/8/25/17781220/toronto-blue-jays-theres-never-been-a-prospect-like-vladimir-guerrero-jr There ya have it. Vlad's hit tool is the best ever apparantly

Wins don't matter at this point really, so there's plenty of arguments to sit him if he's not getting any interest on the trade market. D'ing him FA would be a classy thing, but then you just give a guy with value away for nothing, may as well keep him and get those few extra weeks of vetrin presents and mentoring

And holy s*** what's in a McCarthy salad? Nvm. Google is my friend. MCCARTHY SALAD ¼ head iceberg lettuce ½ head romaine lettuce ½ cup grilled, diced free-range chicken ½ cup diced roasted red beets ¼ cup free range egg yolk ¼ cup free range egg white ½ cup applewood smoked bacon ¼ cup diced tomato ¼ cup diced avocado Arrange in a salad bowl. BALSAMIC DRESSING RECIPE 1 c. Sparrow Lane Balsamic Vinegar 1 shallot 1 T. brown Sugar 3 cloves roasted garlic 1 tsp. Dijon mustard Kosher salt and black pepper Canola Oil 42$ folks.

Buck gave away the reason during the game. Clearly Gabe had no idea why to take out his pitcher since he wasn't required to hit. NL managers just get so confused when they play in AL parks.

I'm not in BC, me and P2F are just getting choked out by all the smoke. Not really gonna complain about that given what BC people are going through.
  14. John_Havok
Damn, that was a fugly AB from LGjr and then another one from Travis
  15. John_Havok
Yeah, lucky for sure. We can't afford to lose Brandon Upton

Easy fix in settings, General Settings
  17. John_Havok
Lol. Just a friendly dick joke between board people. And btw you can turn the email notifications off for quoting in Settings, General Settings.
  18. John_Havok
    Fixed that for ya

I get a Blue Jays alarm clock, but not one with the second dumbest HR call in history, behind only the ultimate homer Hawk Harrelson.
  20. John_Havok
There is no DL on the offseason
  21. John_Havok
Are you high? That's the dumbest thing I've seen in loooooong time.
  22. John_Havok
I'm struggling with that though. The only way to be as god awful as Baltimore is to be completely incompetent, out of touch and 10 years behind. That doesn't get solved in 3 seasons...so wishing for 1 is like acknowledging you can't do the other.
  23. John_Havok
    But with Justin Upton upside.
  24. John_Havok
Can't even imagine the apathy that would surround the franchise if the Jays went full Baltimore. That's never gonna happen
